Hey everybody...Something that has caught our eye and is kinda funny...LOL.. There are so many profiles where the man is listed as 5 foot 8inches tall and weight between 151 lbs and 175 lbs. Are these factors a default setting or are there really that many men out there on the shorter side?
Q. What is the Average Height for an Adult Male?
A. According to the National Center for Health Statistics, the average height for an adult male in the United States is:
* 69.2 inches, or
* 5 feet 9.2 inches
This statistic for the average height for an adult male is from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) conducted from 1999-2002.
I guess 5'9" 'ish is about right!
I'm 6'2" and I know I'm not tall, but I still see over a lot of people.

Dave is 5'9"1/2 inches tall, but he rounds up to 5'10" LOL. So, I guess he fits right around the average height.
I think it's safe to say that all of us guys that are 6'2"-3"ish are taller than average, but we are certainly an average tall.
Wow don't I feel Like a MIDGET!
Also, 25lbs is a pretty big range... and if someone is on the cusp, they probably round up or down... which means you have most of the healthy male population (BMI wise, at least) lumped into one or two groups.
Personally, I think the middle weights should have smaller ranges... if someone rounds down when they weigh 207, and someone else rounds up when they weigh 147, you end up with people 60lbs apart, but according to the profiles, it could be as little as a couple pounds difference. (150-175/175-200)
Obviously pictures are there, but I like to know how much muscle someone is (muscle being heavier than fat).
