We recommend going to some of the parties or meet and greets listed on the home page. No better way to get to know other couples than talking to them in person.

Whatever you do DO NOT post a thread venting your frustration with the site, they seem friendly, but they are NOT!!! They seem nice right now, but...........
When we were new I posted a thread about the site, and how I felt it wasn't working, and we just couldn't seem to get people to talk to us (you forum stalkers may remember "This feels more like a singles bar") The people on this site were absolutely RUDE! So my advice is opposite of a few here that say plaster yourself around the forum, ITS CRAP! anybody who's going to talk to you will anyway, why set yourself up to be flamed?

Classy: I just had a bit of an epiphany which I knew - but just forgot:
In every forum, there will eventually be some who delight in causing trouble. Unfortunately, those people tend to wind up being some of the most-prolific - so it begins to feel like "everybody is mean and rude".
However, *most* people here - just like most people in "the rest of the world" are truly-nice people. Just ignore the rude ones - and *particularly* ignore the ones who *seem* to be polite, but who pick out something about you and pummel away at it. They're not worth getting upset about.
This is a party. Just laugh at the rude, mean "drunk guy" - and enjoy the party. People really are great!

I had never even been on any forum when I joined this site, so you can imagine my surprise when I posted my first thread "Are all the girls BI?" WOW, I had no idea!
The forum has made our profile views #s come up, but we really have not had "great luck" meeting people on this site, period. The difference is that we figured out that we will not find people sitting on our asses reading and posting, we gotta get out there.
This site is my window into the swinging world, but everyone's so far away that it just that a window, not a doorway. Sometimes I feel like the kid with the chicken pox, staring out the window wishing I could play!
NAUGHTY, its always nice to see new faces on the forum, I hope we will see more of you, hope I didn't scare you away, just wish someone would have warned me!

We've actually NEVER met anyone off this site, where we are VIP members with a lifetime membership, but met quite a few couples from another site, where we are free members. Go figure.
It all depends on locale, willingness to travel and effort.
We've actually met some very nice people here! Met a few that we'd rather not have met and while I won't out them publically, if you want to know the creepy ones, send me an email and I will share the information.
The best ways to meet folks is through the meet and greets- very low key, mingle, play pool, dance, have a drink, sit and visit.
