Here's a little scenario from our past
We prefer to sit and chat with a new couple, especially at a pool, or, better yet, a hot tub. We would talk for maybe an hour or so, until basically we feel comfortable with one another. Light petting will usually begin the action, and then things start flowing naturally.
Our experiences have usually lasted several hours, we are not into Fuck and Go approach. We like to enjoy a meal together, chat, and then have some physical contact. I think it is a matter of chemistry among everyone.
We do not mind getting naked either. We went to a party a week ago, and we were both naked within minutes!

Maybe one of the ladies were on their time of the month, maybe someone had a headache, maybe they were still feeling you out as to whether they trully wanted to. It could be a number of things. We find it best not to lead with expectations. If it happens, it happens.

Generally, we do not have this problem...She is VERY good at letting it be known if there will be play, "Hey honey, don't you wanna taste his ____" or "You know...I think we need to go to ______ to play" usually the place to go to is NOT someplace most people in the lifestyle would go...So we get our escape...Sometime though, someone will call her all in bluff and catch her out there...
JstJim - I think you've identified "the" way to get the ball rolling.
I am not an agressive person, not by a long shot and definately not sexually. When I was part of a couple, this trait did not serve me or anyone we were playing with. I found that conversations would go on for hours and it was difficult getting from point A to point B. Very quickly 'we' both determined that if I even made a flirtatious comment like the one you point out, the ball would roll - hell the ball would bounce baby!!
Having the female half take charge or even suggest she might take charge and the ball is on it's way. I think that all too many times, men are overly cautious because they don't want to be agressive or pushy.
