I have two gay sons. We are all very close and very open about sex. I have never heard them say anything about being used by women to pay for their company (dinners or otherwise) as the reason they are gay.

I hate to tell you, sugar, but there is no difference between the way women act today and at any other point in human history. While I'm not looking to a man to be a provider, that is the traditional role of men, and when dating that is the role men take up to impress their love interest. If you're to naive to realize this then most women wouldn't want you anyway.
The main problem I have with this post is the old argument that paying for dinner, drinks, etc. = an obligation for the woman to spread her legs wide open for a guy. If you just want to buy a woman, then go and get yourself a prostitute and stop treating the rest of us objects that you can buy. It's a sure thing, and then you wouldn't look like an idiot posting inane and ignorant rants.

If all you frustrated men who have no concept of women as people want to get together and diddle with each other, more power to you. First of all this thread is stupid. The reason why men are gay has nothing to do with the way women are perceived to act by the poster. I am a bisexual man and have had sex with both men and women. I don't have a preference, I love it all. I have met my share of "pretty boy" gay men who want to be wined and dined before getting into the sack as well. If that's what they want, and they can get it, then more power to them!

As some one that has been with both men and women, I can honestly say no woman ever drove me to having sex with a man.
