We go all summer long. We are going down next weekend May 11-13th. Going to Bullfrog. Let us know if anyone has plans to be there. We would love to hear more about the June event. I think we will probably bring up the Carver so we have a place to crash. That and we are keeping the Fountain is in San Diego till after our Lifestyle Havasu boat party in July.
Makre sure you take lots and lots of pictures to share with us. Its beautiful country down there.

We spent today out on the lake playing,, great time. Lake is coming up about 6" a day (not AOL inches either) right now so if we are going to get a decent beach, it will probably require a little bit of landscaping (raking sticker bushes and such). Water temp is pushing 70 in some spots.

We are working on schedules and other hurdles. Just curious to know if we can pull it off what other couples would be interested in riding down with us. We have room for 3 to 5 additional people in the Yukon depending upon how comfortable we want to be and how much luggage there is.

Water temp is a bit brisk when you first jump in but after that, it's refreshing. Temps are up in the 90's already so Hym, as far as luggage goes, I don't think you need to pack much.

We have a few ideas that we use that work really well, take up very little space, and seem to be a hit (yes, I'm talking about one of the infamous Cajun shrimp boils)..

Due to to the fact the hoilday weekend left the boat in bad condition the Houseboat will have to be out of commision and fixed...
There is no way that my friend Jason can get the problem fixed in time for the weekend trip.

OK, we can still make this weekend happen if anyone is still interested.
Mary is checking on a houseboat for Friday till Sunday, but it will be out of Wahweap. The drive time from Salt Lake to Wahweap is about 5.5 hours (going 5-7 over the limit). I don't know how many people were thinking of staying on the houseboat so if I could get a count, that would help alot.
If noone is interested in doing the houseboat, we could still do a beach campout thing also...
