how do you fix Diaper Rash?
doing a favor for sister in law. gave up the swing life for a few weeks so they could do a 2nd honymoon and ran into a Diaper Rash how do you fix if with out doing doctors?
can't have kids so don't know how to fix.

Put Desitin on it and change their diaper often.
change diaper i usely live that for the woman but i'm stuck home while shes at work so this is all new to me

What has always worked for me is a combination of treatments. First, is to change the diaper often. Using the Desitin or Budreau's Butt Paste on red areas. I also put some baby powder in the diaper to keep all other areas dry. Good luck!

Honestly "BAG BALM" works by far the best for diaper rash, skin irritations, cracks, sores, etc. Good all round balm. Others will echo this. You can go buy this and keep it and use it for other things.
If its a really bad diaper rash, after cleaning the area carefully, air dry, put a little powder over the area, then use diaper rash ointment (Desitin or whatever your favorite brand is) and put a little more powder over that. It helps especially if the diaper isn't going to be changed for a while (ie. overnight). Changing the diaper more often and giving the baby a bath once a day so that the area stays clean and drier till the skin has time to heal are the best bets, though.
