You just strengthened a point I was making in another thread. That the casualty rate doesn't matter. It's perception. I was saying that propaganda is way more effective. This is why we should criminally pursue media agencies in the U.S. that falsify news or present it in such a way to sympathize with our enemy or demoralize our troops. Time and time again, this happens and it's goes by unpunished.
Everyday we are reminded of the alleged "atrocities" that our forces have commited during the Iraq and Afghanistan campaigns. We are constantly bombarded by the liberal press by pictures of our troops being like that of Gustapo weilding precison weapons that target schools and hospitals. When in reality coalition forces have done far more in the way of designing weapons that avoid collateral damages, while the Middle Eastern cultures actually target innocence hoping to cause terror amongst their own to force allegance. Not unlike Stalin in WWII.
Call me crazy, but because we are the "big boy" on the block with the most powerful allies in the world, we should just conquer these fuckin morons. Take their country (they don't deserve) and reprogram their children into adults that can reason beyond sawing an innocent screaming victims head off. Other than the few tainted by the propaganda coming out of that Cat Box overseas, the majority of Muslims in other parts of the world are peace loving and cool. So I say we nip this in the bud and replace the shit ith quality. NUFF SAID!
