I just want to know how the things she had packed up (along with the pepper spray) were going to be used - this was one smart USAF/NASA trained lady so she had to have some great plan to make use of it all. If she would have only been a swinger the triangle thing would have been much less of a problem :-) Swingers In Space ". . . .or would you like swing on a star . . . ."

Some new light on this...reveals some of the stressors.
The Astronaut in question and the famous "diapers". Evidently, the diapers are commonly used by astronauts (pilots?) So it could well have just been a "common sense" move for her.
And she was fairly recently Separated from her husband...so what ever was happening there could have provided enough stress to just pop her reality wide open.
I feel badly for her...honestly. She got into/created a situation that got out of control and escalated. However...for any of us who have had Stalkers? It's not so funny.
But you still have to look at it and laugh.
