15000 primary and secondary schools have been built or re-built.
All universities and collages are open
Teacher salaries are 10 time higher than pre-war
Annual shipments of medical supplies to Iraq per-war topped out a 100 tons. Just since may 1 of 2003, the worald has sent over 750,000 tons.
EVERY town in Iraq is undergoing construction projects lead by Iraqi companys and manned by Iraqi people.
All of this accomplished through the leadership of our military. When we bring them all home I vote they go to work on our problems. Thay seem to be able to get things done

It's OK for you to disagree, but maybe you'd like to tell us what you disagree with. Those are facts. Those are the good things that we've done over there. You don't ever get to hear them because there is no interest in our media reporting good news about our military and what is happening in Iraq. YOu don't have too believe it or even like it. Second, I am a Vietnam vet and was in the Navy for 14 years. We were never expected to build schools, etc. We were expected to maintain control of the seas for the benefit of the United States (per Alfred Thayer Mahan, Naval Historian, from my Midshipman days).
Third, while I cannot confirm or deny the statements in this thread's initial post, none of it can justify the Bush pre-emptive war or the mounting death total of our troops in Iraq.
Fourth, the political views of those we might consider for sexual play are important. We really don't want to get fucked by the right-wing any more.

Wow it just amazes me how some people rationalize things. Big Balls, Fuck off etc. etc. all BIG talk that's all. Did Bush actually lead the charge? Hell no!! He even chickened out of Vietnam as did his Veep. Made us safer?? I can't rationalize stirring up a dozen hornets nests as being safer. If those who are so quick to tout the Iraq accomplishments (which by the way are far overstated) paid any attention to world affairs and and the continual flow of information negating this administration I doubt they would be so quick to trumpet their feats. Iraq is a failure plain & simple, a coverup and a white wash. Bush is a bold faced liar proven time and time again. Just consider the known facts, NO WMD, NO Iraq link to Al Qaeda, just released by the CIA is a report well known to the defense department that Saddam DID NOT gas the Kurds in 1988 but rather it was the Iranians who did and as a result of that attack the U.S. and Britain secretly supplied Saddam and Iraq with large quantities of Mustard gas this is info that GW knew as his daddy was in office at that time. The list goes on and on virtually indefinately. Every rationale for invading Iraq has been irrefutably proven to be a falsehood and knowingly so. Just today the White House grudgingly released info on the Iraq spending, only $366 million of over $18 billion has been spent on reconstruction as of June 30th. Oil flow is far less than pre-war and they can't account for the money collected for the sale of Iraq's oil since it fell under U.S. control, yes they have rebuilt some schools but the number is far less than the original poster boasted, around 2500, electricity is still only at 50%, there's no real security but this administration selfishly wanted to transfer the so called sovereignty to the Iraqi's pre election so they didn't give a damn about those people's well being. Soldiers are still dying and being maimed daily. Terrorist attacks are up over 500% since the Iraq invasion even though the Bush adm. issued a false report stating otherwise until they got caught again. Our energy costs have risen nearly 100% since Bush took office and the created jobs they keep touting are NOT high paying jobs but are more in tune with Wal Mart wages. Folks you should do your own research before you start spouting off how wonderful ol GW and his cronies are, just look at his refusal to fire Rummy over the prison scandals even though he indirectly authorized the abuses. Ask yourself this, Is this the country I have been so proud to be a citizen of?? Is this the way Americans react?? If your answer is anything other than NO then you aren't a true Patriot of the United States of America and all she has stood for the past 228 years!!

So we vote to weed out the terrorist in our yard before we worry about a terrorist 1000's miles away.How can we make the world safe if we cant even make home safe?

Why is it the uninformed far right wingers are always screaming bleeding heart Liberals? Just that statement tells me a lot about their knowledge of MODERN day American politics. Cheney is still rallying the uninformed on this issue with falsehoods and just as the 9/11 commission reissued a rebuttal to his public statements that they found NO evidence of such unless Mr. Cheney had info they didn't. And he didn't but some of you still rally around their war cries. Just for the record as I stated earlier Saddam DID NOT gas his own people as this administration keeps falsely touting, the Iranians did and that was proven by our own CIA back in 1990 & 1991 so WHY do they keep repeating known Falsehoods? Another KNOWN FACT is that Bush #1 along with Britain supplied Saddam with chemical and biological agents secretly to produce weapons to use against the Iranians. This was known by all in the know at the Defence Dept.. I'm sorry that some people believe all the garbage that comes from the White House not to mention their entire agenda is wound around this so called war on terrorism and twisting and distorting the records and words of their opponents. If we did that we would be sued for libel. It's a known FACT that G.W. Bush and Dick Cheney led us into an unnecessary conflict under false pretenses.
