Damn your going to be a couple of weeks ahead of us. We are going to be there April 30th to May 6th.
They are going through a rebuild after the huricane a couple a years ago. Yhe dock was blown away so you will have to go on shove via launch. Stay in the shopping area. Some of the best deals are 1 block off of front street. Same stuff just lower prices. If you have time, rent a jeep and go to American Beach. Good food, diving, chairs at the waterfront and some small shops. It is only 15 mins from town or you can get a cab. We enjoy the backside of the island. There are no homes or people. You can drive totally around the isl in less than an hour, but be careful the roads are terrible. Unless you are a history nut, the Mian Ruins are not much. The best of these are on the Mexican main land and about 5 hrs drive to Chetchnetza. Real nice but a day shot. Carlos & Charlies is a must if you just want to have a fantastic drunk time...LOL.
