Hello All Members and Guests,
We'll be at the basement again this coming up Saturday night, so if you're looking to meet and greet with some new faces and regular members, you're more than welcome to attend any of the basement socials.
The party starts up at 8pm, and if you're looking for a motel close to the basement, you can call 411 Motel or The Princess Motel. If you need to be picked up and dropped back off at the motel, arrangements can be made, but you must contact me asap to have it set up for you, to have a room reserved and the cab service notified. I will eventually have a "shuttle" for any guests that will be staying at the motels, where you will not have to worry about the driving, just enjoying your night out, safely.
If you will be attending, please e-mail me back, and if you need a room, call for faster response time. I hope to see some of the couples that couldn't be at the motel, to help me and Jeff continue celebrating our 24th Anniversary.
SPECIAL VALENTINE DAYS ANNOUNCEMENT
I'm taking reservations NOW for any couples wanting their "Valentine Dinner" served at the basement, anytime during the day of Valentines. The dinner being served is a Slow Roasted Pot Roast dinner with homemade Mashed Potatoes, Italian Cut Green Beans, Carrots, Yeast Rolls, and a dessert....pineapple upside down cake and cupcakes with assorted icing toppings....vanilla, chocolate, cream cheese, sprinkles, or strawberry twist. You're welcome to bring an Alchoholic Beverage, but Tea or a soda is included with your meal.
Donation for the dinner is $75, and you'll have low back ground music to listen to, or slow dance to, if you wish. NO Dress code for the private dinner, and each dinner is set-up privately, unless you don't mind having one or two other couples there to dine at the same time, it's your choice. I have several private rooms set-up for privacy. The times to reserve start up at 11:00am, and if you want to confirm a specific time, you need to call asap. Times are going fast for early evening, around 7pm, but lunches are open still. I will be taking reservations up until 10pm that night. If you want a private dinner any other time, just call and confirm and pay your deposit asap.
Directions to basement:
Take 411 south to Thompson Bridge Road
If coming from Chattanooga/Atlanta, road will be on right, if coming from
Maryville/Knoxville, road will be on the left.
After turning onto Thompson Bridge Road, go 1.2 miles and turn left again
onto Nine Mile Road. (Williamson Chapel Church signs are at each turn-off).
After turning onto Nine Mile Road, go a few hundred feet and turn right
onto Williamson Chapel Road.
Go 3/4 of a mile and house and two gravel driveways are on the right hand
side of road....1028 on black mailbox-right hand side, also.
Please turn into the SECOND gravel driveway and park in the back where the
basement door entrance is located. There's plenty of parking. Pictures are on
the web site under the "gallery" link, to see what the basement and motel look
like.
