This sounds interesting, but I have a serious question. Elsewhere you posted regarding this party that "Like anything truly worthwhile, admission to his upscale fetes iscontingent on a well-defined vetting process, thus ensuring thestandard of guests is high."
My question is, "What constitutes the vetting process"? I've spoken with quite a few people that have attended parties that relied solely on an advance screening process rather than existing social ties within the community and previous contact online. It seemed to invariably boil down to physical appearance and their standing as a professional in the business community from photos and brief bios submitted in advance for entrance. Compatibility and personality types were an afterthought. The results were....mixed with quite a clash of personalities...to put it politely.

Interesting how we don't see a posted response to the questions and concerns posted by ALASKAN_GROWN that has been on for a while. We have talked to others on this site about this as well and would love to see a response from the host of this upcoming Ski Bunny party. Being in the club and parties promotions business, we have seen many try to do parties that have gone as fast as they have cum (a one shot deal with no long lasting enjoyment and who wants that - LOL) So the ALASKAN_GROWN posting is of interest to many. This might give many of us another lifestyles type party option in Utah to get out and meet more like minded fun people. Thank you to all those that have hosted some great parties (club, house, mansion etc.) as we know it takes a lot of effort and work to help all of us have a place to meet and have fun with people in the lifestyle.

Just to clear the air, my question is not meant to be taken as a combative or critical one. It is one of honest curiosity. I'm just making sure that everyone that's able to answer the question fairly knows what page we're on and that we don't have any nasty angles to play here.

They've logged on quite a few times since their initial post with no correspondence or acknowledgment to a single post in this thread. I don't know if those details are forthcoming.
*edit*Looking at another site they have posted the invitation on, it seems that starting a thread and not responding on it may be standard practice for them. At least two other party invite threads of theirs have panned out the same way.

If you follow some common sense, and good judgment, you will notice that the original thread poster and a few of those who "support" the party are either a) very, very new members, and/or b) not certified.
We work too hard for our cash to be handing it over to someone we, nor anyone we know, have met.
Just our opinion.
oh and BTW, since we DON'T know George, he doesn't get our cash or our ass

I emailed them a few question in regards to the cost.....only because I was curious that if you get invited to such lavish parties there has to be a cost involved. They emailed me right back and only said......depending upon the couple it could cost anywhere from $100-$300 and they called it a donation. mmmmm, I dont think this is something we are interested in, and from the sounds of it not a lot of ppl are. It sounds like quite a upscale party, but they also seem like they are picky on the bodies that will be attending rather then the mind's and personalities of those attending. SO, if you go to the party you may get to spend time with a beautiful "Barbie" type lady but "hello, hello...no one is home upstairs" and blah blah personality. Thats just not our type. I also had to laugh over the...."depending upon the couple" the donation amount could be 100-300. WTF is that?

To StitchUtah, We to were responded too and he did not say depending on the "couple" it would be between $100 and $300 per couple, he said depending on how many "couples" were invited it would be between $100 and $300 per couple. He is not saying that depending on who you are or how much you make we will decide how much you will pay, only that the amount of couples attending would be divided by the cost of the whole event. I just want to set the record straight. Good for George for sticking his head out there and doing something like this in Utah. Good for him. Many of you will remember the old Mansion parties on the East side of Salt Lake a few years ago. This was way before any organized monthly parties, or even before Swingular was big. In fact I remember meeting Rob the owner of this site at a Mansion party for the first time when he was just getting going in Utah. There would only be about 20 to 40 couples to this event, and at the time the cost was between $75.00 and $85.00 with BYOB also. They were fun, great home, great people and lots of play in all the rooms, swimming pool and hot tub, the only reason they ended was that the owner was able to sell the place at a great return on his investment.
Just like with anything or any party, if you don't feel that it is you or within your budget then it is your right to decline and not go. Just like any of the other many parties in this State now. We didn't go to the last bowling party and most likely won't attend the next because we are not big bowlers nor do we want to travel that far but I am not going to put down the organized effort to put it on and have a fun time for everyone that does go.
To each his or her own. Work hard, play harder we always say. So just have fun whatever it is you like to do but don't put thing down or say things that you know nothing or little about.

HAHA...reading over Stitch's last comment made me remember a video clip I recently saw...
That clip was very cute Lisa, thanks for sharing. I went thru and read the entire post before adding my reply. I have to say it is rather interesting that this thread as been going this long and the originators have yet to respond. We have been in the lifestyle for over 4 years and have enjoyed it very much. We have made some wonderful friends.
We as everyone, have had both bad and good experiences. I have to tell you that when you see an invite "select couples only" well that pretty much tells you (or us at least) that if your body type is average or heavier you dont fall into the "select range". Them not answering questions and such addressing just that issue, makes you think even more that this must be the case. I am sure that people with the body type of slim/slender or athletic get an immediate response if the email them privately. This is all just my opinion and observation. But come on now, if people only want the "pretty people" then maybe they should have a site for that. There are sites for heavier people (BBW). I would think if you belong to a site like this one where there is every shape and size that people would not be so judgemental of the weight and size. You can decline politley instead of announcing we are having a party (if you are hot enough to attend)

we didn't think that the 200$ was that bad... we spend that going out on a friday night anyway. so why not spend it on a mystery party.. we don't know who is going, we don't know what to expect, and so its another adventure in the life of recon...
I am sorry MY BAD......I just went back and re read my email from them about the cost....it says...there is indeed a donation required between $1-300 per couple. It doesn't indicate how they determine that...whether that b by the couple or by the amount of ppl there that...it doesn't say. So...to each their own!
