I am seriously thinking I should move to Utah. Without going into a long discriptive reason why. And if you have read some of my posts you'ld know why. Untop of the fact that Ytah seems to be full of swingers that are healthy. I can't seem to find work in my home area of PA. You would think that a 30 year old cook, with ServeSafe and Department of Agriculture, Bureau of Food Safety and Laboritory Services certifications. Would be able to find a job real easy. And I have seen people get promoted to resaurant management for a lot less. In fact I worked at a Chi-Chi's a couple years back. And was asked to train for management by the district and regional managers. While I was training one of the pot head cooks got his waitress girl friend pregnant. They promoted him as soon as they found out. Maybe, I'm not getting the jobs I want because I'm open about swinging. Add to that I am 30 years old and single. Maybe I'm single cause I'm open about swinging. Eitherway I am in a bad situation and it needs to change. Pretty soon the bank is going to reposess my truck. And that will leave me screwed.
Sorry to hear about your bad luck. Maybe you should be a little more discreet about your lifestyle at work. Being open about your personal lifestyle choice at work is never a good idea!

Keep your private life private and you'll probably have less problems with work. Moving won't help if that's the problem which I suspect has something to do with it.

Hope it works out for you.

Justin-

You might want to look deeper into what Utah is all about before you dive in. Just because you can see a few hundred swingers that appear to be cool, doesn't mean that the other 2.2 million Utahns are so accepting and fun.
Living in Utah has some very good benefits (aside from the abundance of swingers)- these include the mountains, the desert, the skiing/snowboarding, hiking, biking, boating, camping, etc. pretty much whatever you want to do here, it is available. We have four distinct seasons, which are nice, if you like hotter than hell summers and super cold winters.
The negative side to living in Utah is a little more hidden, and harder to explain. Simply put, if you don't fit in to the predominant culture (conservative, religious, Caucasian) you might not be happy here. Not that there aren't liberal, non-religious, non-white people here, but many locals look down on anyone who is 'different.'
Also with one of the lowest unemployment rates in the country, and with less jobs available than most places, it might be difficult to find work in Utah.

I hope I haven't pissed anyone off with my reply... Just trying to give Justin (and everyone else) a little bit of insight on what Utah is about

Mr U
Suck it up Justin. You sound pathetic. Only losers get their vehicles repossed. I'm attracted to confident me. You don't need to be rich, just self supporting. Try smiling in your picture also. No one will approach an angry guy. Good luck babe.
Hey thanks to everyone for responding. You should know that I don't want to leave johnstown at all. But somethings got to give. WEYMOUTH you sound like a cuckolder or an ass. I wish was just a case of me being open about swinging. But, it isn't, Most Restaurant managers would rather have a lazy pot head on the staff. The reason being that they won't have to give those guys raises every 6 months. And those guys won't ask for insurance or promotions. And in coorperate owned places each restaurant gets bonus money for echieving goals. Sales, Low food Cost, or high ratings from thoes professional shoppers. Most managers don't share that with thier employees, SOME DO. PA has the same types of recreation activities but with out a work I really can't enjoy them. And It's been my expirence that if you are open about what you are into then you'll meet people into the same things.. I just have to keep working on finding a job. I'm fairly simple I just need something that I can pay my bills with. WEYMOUTH I was working for $7.00 per hour 35 hours per week this summer. Paying for $350.00 truck payments $150.00 for it's insurance three credit cards and student loans. And I still had money for fun. It's just that society is set up to support families(especially in PA). So, singles have a real hard. Like I said I wish it was a matter of me being open about swinging, but I think I would have the same problems if I wasn't. Is it my fault that the pot head that is in charge of my case at the temp agency can't or won't help me find work? I am bitching and hope I don't upset everyone. But it gets frustrating, If you knew how many people I know that put themselves through college by selling weed you'ld be pissed off too.
One more thing, I am gentlemanly as possible with people when I'm at work. So, it's not like I can be fired for sexual harrasment or anything.
