We've been hard at work creating new features for Swingular and are happy to announce our latest feature:
VIDEO ALBUMS
Just like photo albums, you can now upload videos to your profile. Each member gets a public and private video album that holds up to 25 video files that can be up to 50 mb in size.
You can virtually upload any type of video format which is then converted to a Flash format. Your video can then be streamed to other members from your video album using Flash Player which almost everybody has on their computer.
YOUR VIDEOS ARE SECURE
Worried about someone downloading your videos? Because we stream the videos from our streaming video server, nobody can save the video file to their computer so your videos will remain safe.
TO VIEW OTHER MEMBERS VIDEOS
You can tell if a member has videos on their profile by the video icon next to their username in the search results. View their profile and you will find a Video Link you can click to view their video album. If the member has private videos, you have to be on their friends list to view them.
HOW TO UPLOAD VIDEOS
Just click the SETTINGS menu and go to your Video Album. From there, you'll be able to upload your videos.
NO COPYRIGHTED OR ILLEGAL MATERIAL
Copyrighted or illegal material is not allowed. If you upload any of this material, your account will be deleted immediately and you will not receive any refunds.
SEE IT IN ACTION
Just go to the ADMINISTRATOR profile to see it in action. We uploaded several public domain videos for you to check out!
MORE TO COME
This is just one feature on our list, we have more to come. Look out soon for Video Profiles that will allow you to record directly from your webcam and add a video profile to your profile. Also, we will finally be introducing our own Instant Messenger system that will have video capabilities. You'll be able to have one on one conversations with other members without having to use YAHOO, AIM, AOL or MSN Messengers! Stay tuned!
