There didn't seem to be any specific binding method mentioned, so I'm posting one of our more fun methods. Unfortunately, it is also the ONLY method captured on film, but I hope to remedy that soon. Lol (This usually ends up being an "on the spur" event so the rope skills aren't real special, but they got the job done!)
