We are going to vegas and curious which is better, Red Rooster or The Green Door, and what are the times best to show up?
Though we've never been to either - we did enough reading on the internet and on other swing sites to think the Rooster is the better between the two. We'll let you know - we're going this coming Friday the 24th with another couple we're traveling with!!!
Our opinion. The Red Rooster, there are other clubs in town besides those and others feel those are better then the Rooster. Avoid the Green Door and all the others around them (three side by side) they have illegal prostitution, they are located right next to gay spa's and bars and have constant drug raids. Not the safest enviornment or best people to be mingling with.
The Rooster opens M-Th 9-2 Fri and Sat at 8-3 and Sun is 6-11 (Sunday has a dresscode of swimsuit or less, its a hot tub party afterall) Its 30 for a couple and 50 for a single. Bring your own alchohol, check it at the bar, ask if someone can show you around, quite a few regulars will do a tour, just so you feel comfortable and know where to find the bathrooms and how the rooms work.

We have been to the Red Rooster and heard the same about the drugs and prositution at the Green Door. We thought the Rooster was nice but after going to the Couples Oasis we feel nothing compares to it. It has been a couple of years since we have been to the Rooster and we are thinking of checking it out again soon. Good Luck and we want to hear your take after you come back.
We have only been to The Red Rooster but we highly reccomend it. We have been on a couple of different occassions and they have something for everyone. We have also heard the same about the Green Door. The weekends at the Red Rooster are more like a night out at a local dance club in our oppinion. While there are nice people to meet, there seems to be more "just looking" than sex. Our best experience happened on a weeknight when we met several nice couples and 2 very respectfull single males with whom we all had fun with. We are also told that Sunday nights are very intimate as well. Our only advice is don't be afraid to introduce yourselves to others. We have heard others talk of the locals keeping to themselves and excluding visitors, but with our experience that simply is not true. If you are willing to put forth the effort of an introduction, the locals are very open and inviting.
I am going to be there midweek 13-14 Dec and unfortunately going to have to be alone let me know if there is anything fun to attend
So I'm guessing that those are "swinger clubs"? What goes on in a respectable one? We are new to the lifestyle and would love to hear more info of what we should check out and what to avoid!! I (the Mrs.) would LOVE to go to a party some time soon! are there any planned?! what do you wear to one?? Can anyone help me out?
