Just a quick poll to see what makes a profile one that you would look at, versus one that you would simply pass on without reading?
The profiles that we like to view are the ones that have at least one recent picture of the profile owners (both of them if it's a couple). Once we view the profile, we like to see the physical details completely and accurately filled out. We also like to see a well written summary, with correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. Anything less tells us a LOT about the people that wrote it, and not in a good way.
Any time we search for people that might interest us, we automatically exclude profiles with no pictures from the search results. We pass on profiles without pictures. We usually pass on profiles where the first picture, or the only picture of the man is his cock, or if there is a picture of the woman, but the man's picture isn't even posted.

Pictures!!! Destination...and a mature explanation of what you are like as a couple, as people, and as lifestylers (i.e. where you are at in the lifestyle, newby's, testing the waters, or you know exactly what you are after, etc..) we like to read what you are in to, and what you like to do in and out of the lifestyle. That is always nice to know.

Pictures! People say looks aren't important but each has its own preferences so what they are looking for and what we are looking for is very important to show compatability. Location! Also important because if we are 2,000 miles away it is nice to look but the chances of really meeting are slim. Then we read the profile and see if we have something in common and are looking for teh same things. We all do this to be happy so we might as well have the best time that we can.

First distance from us.. when we chose this location, we loved the idea that we were "centrally located" .. which isnt alwways the case.
Second , what they are into.. We never understood the whole, soft swap.. fore play with the "guests" and finish by swapping back to your regular partner to fuck... It seems like.. why bother, otherwise we can stay home and have hot sex with each other...
Third and Finally, what the profile has, I couldnt agree more... with what has already been said.. We read the profile, and then browse the pics.. genitals are gentials.. Pictures of both people are required. People within a reasonable distance. People that are "Down To Earth" and aren't hung up on the sex part being first. Also people that don't think they're better or somehow more superior to others. We can't stand superficial shitheads who suffer from delusions of grandeur. "Legends in their own minds" if you will. People like that can french kiss our balloon knots.
So, I think the most logical 1st step is to take some pics. Then you should write and intelligent and honest profile. If we find compatibility, It's really up to meeting you. :-)

I must say that I haven't a problem with headless nudes, subsequent face pics and note I did not say "facial". Ok a little humor but seriously the pictures can be copied and posted on the net. One might not give some pictureless shmuck access to your private album but who's to say that code is not broken? If full pics are available then these could be somehow by some 'kid' be posted.
One thing that I see is an apparent double standard about visuals. I see mixed messages about what is desired so maybe not everyone can be satisfied about what to see. I think I might suggest to someone that they post clothed pictures for the public album blocking faces for purposes of discretion for concerns about career or reputation elsewise. Add to that a private album of headless nudes and face pictures.
Reality should be there in the profile. Listing features accurately or closely to avoid contradiction to photos is a good idea. Now, I would like to say that whether a profile is brief or essay, one should not judge. There is the option of e-mail to start contact or just decide based on "too lazy to work on profile" or "worth contacting". I decided to make mine brief because I didn't want unnecessary details that not everyone would be interested in and because I have turned off the profiles too long to read which I think had too much to say about a bunch of silly details usually about rejection. Just my opinion but I don't need to read about how so disgruntled the barrage of single males makes someone, it would give me another reason to stop reading a profile no matter how good it looks. (If wishing to only contact the single males without their contact, don't include "single males" in the Seeking field of profile. Just being truthful, not starting a bashing session.)
All in all I would like to point out that the internet and this website is for convenience. Imagine 30 years ago when one could only purchase a monthly publication, out of date by 3 months and only having 120 pictures of maybe 1000 listings these being from across the country. Phone numbers were not listed and mail had to go through the system of the publishers, magine how long that took. So when I say convenience I would like to suggest courtesy, kindness and patience. I have seen so many forums and chat rooms bashed because of someones selfishness and distain for others that I personally feel they shouldn't be here. It is hard sometimes to weed out the origin of the anger but it is there and easy to get involved in.
I have talked with some really honorable people and I hope to find more. I treat them with respect as I would a potential client while at work. Sometimes in the chat room I have let my pants down and it's all good when it doesn't offend and others are ready for it.
I will be working on my profile a little in the very near future to update it so before you look at it know that it has had several changes over the year and a half of being here.
