Thank you for the information. I to received this last night, but decided i dint want to sign in to my yahoo. I am glad I didnt. When I clicked on the link to see what it was being sent to me, it came up as a Yahoo page like your sign in page for yahoo looks........looked ligit, ut I didnt want to sign in.

One of my yahoo accounts was hacked and I may have been theperson who let them in.. Password was changed yesterday afternoon between 5:30 and 715pm I got a notice from yahoo on the alternate address I provided and had one hell of a time getting my address back. After notifying Yahoo they gave me a bunch of BS as to how to change my password... but I had to get into the account first... Yaho didn't seem to understand that I could not get into my account.... I finally reminded them that I had a backdoor password..(not really a back door but a security question... they made it available and I gained access via them changing a password and showing it to me. I then proceeded to change the password two times in the next 4 hours... Nothing in there but personal messages and conversations with friends that are archived... Could this be related?

I noticed that DJQ is no longer here from his forum post yesterday and now this happens today, I wonder if those on this website that chose not to post their yahoo ID got the same message or if theres any corrolation. I hate to jump out and point fingers but that seems quite coincidental that he bows out and this happens the same day.

Knockinboots, Not DJQ at all. He's in DC and I traced the web address to possibly one of 2 places. UT or FL. The interesting thing was that the web adress was old method .... ###.##.##.## so interesting that it should cum up UT and FL.... I draw no conclusions other than it was not DJQ.... I don't always agree with him and his humor is quite oblique but I don't think he had anything to do with this scam.. I think that people just want to see how much hell they can inflict and think it's funny or they are really looking for identies to rob... It took about one hour to get my acounts back..... I reminded security that I'd had a security question and they gave me the question and voila I got in... But today they gave me a new password and I had to change it to something I wanted ...today again.... The fun never stops... I have friends who call Yahoo.. Yahell
