does anyone travel to lava hotsprings to party any more? fire and ice party there this weekend.
We were there last weekend with some friends. There are events all the time that people go up there. Some of the events aren't well advertised.

I keep seeing posts about Lava. Is there some inside thing about Lava that I don't know about or is it just hot spring pools?
We are headed there Saturday. Probably end up being with family though. Feel a fun activity.

We love lava! We will likely not be there this weekend, but if you want to connect maybe we’ll plan a trip together! 😉
We travel there often it’s a fun spot to get away to.

The Lava Hot Springs Fire & Ice Winterfest is held each year over the first full weekend of February. The town has a website you can follow for upcoming events.
Lava Hot Springs is a popular swingers hangout, most of it is informal, but several groups and organizations do hold Lava Meet N Greets throughout the year. The next meet and greet I'm aware of is May 24-26 Risqué School House Rock.
Accommodations vary from rustic to some very nice places with their own private hot tubs.
Soaking in the Hot Springs is very popular in the winter and tubing the Portneuf River is extremely popular in the summer. Hope that helps.

Lava is a great retreat, about 170 miles from SLC. It's especially heavenly during the Winter while in the hot pools as the steam raises, the snow slowly floats down and your body is feeling relaxed 
We just got back a couple weeks ago but want to go down for fire and ice
