This has been a question on my mind for a while. If nearly all of us use alternate sites, why haven’t we all just moved to K asidie or SLS etc.? I know that Swingular is practically the only game in Utah, but why??? Kinda like why does anyone still use K ik when Telegram is 1000x better. They’re such dead platforms, and I know that the only reason we keep it is because we want to stay in touch with some people, encounters and events that get posted here.
We always prefer meeting people in person by introduction, but at the same time, we have met some awesome ones from here as well as other sites. Anyway, pure curiosity. It’s a head scratcher for us

Ya, between the two of us we’re on 7 different LS FB groups as well, not counting the side chats. I’m mostly just curious why we haven’t all moved away from this one and let it die.

So I will tell you why. It's easy. You don't have to search to filter for people that are close! You know a majority is close to you. Also, forums aren't as good on the other sites. Again, they are local based and resonate well with everyone on the site (culture in Utah is so different than everywhere else). Unfortunately, the other sites you mention fail in one area versus another.
I guess we just don’t care about forums, including the ones we post on 😂. As far as filtering for locals, most of them do that for you by zip code. We have actually found a lot of locals on the other sites, but to each their own. I don’t actually care all that much, everyone has something that works best for them. It just didn’t make sense in my mind.
For not caring about forums you sure do like to create threads more than most…
We rotate among the LS resources we know about. We think of Swingular as one of many fishing holes we use. It’s got a lot of local profiles, but we think we’ve seen most of what it has to offer as far as couples go, and have met lots of people… made a few friends. Every once in a while we’ll come across a profile we haven’t seen before and are interested in, but that’s becoming more and more rare. Some apps (like Swingular) have dried up, but we still make the rounds to see if there’s anything new. Sometimes there’s a nice surprise.
We do also like reading the forum posts. We used to post pics, but have decided not to contribute to the single guys porn collections here. They seem to be the ones that create those threads or keep them alive, so nah.

Lifetime membership paid for, familiar, and easy to use. We need to all pick one messenger service to utilize more than anything.

We just switched our profile back to SLC area.

All that matters is what site everyone is on. Once everyone in a location is on a site, the owners have 0 incentive to put any time or money into making it better.
