Hey, guys, I'm sure this has been posted about a million times so I apologize. We are looking at booking a cruise in Mexico in January or February. we would love to make some wild times and be exposed to a fun lifestyle atmosphere. What has everyone's experience been? Where do you recommend? We are assuming that a adult only resort is a must, is this correct? We have heard good things about temptations but reading the reviews it sounds discouraging with the rooms. The RIU resorts look nice, but will there be any wild times to he had at these places? If you booked at a RIU but wanted to hang at the resort at Temptations can you do this?

Yes, adults only a must. Pick either one of the Desire properties in Cancun. Easy flight, quick ride to/from airport, and couples only. Temptations if you want less nude space and more partying. Singles there too.
These places are all LS friendly. So there are nudists and people there just to feed on a sex positive energy. You might want to better define your expectations of wild times. Unless you book during a takeover it can be less than wild. That's not a bad thing if you want a pressure free first trip.

I guess by wild times we mean the atmosphere is there if you want to take it or leave it. Topless pools, drinks, sex positive vibes or like minded people all in the same resort is what we are thinking. Is this am every weekend thing in cancun or do you have to find the right weekends to go?
If your staying at the RIU, you must do the boob cruise. The party boat leaves from Temptation twice per week. The topless party boat trip will last most of the day. It includes snorkeling, lunch on the beach at Isla Mujeres and wild adult games on the boat. Many people end up totally naked as you head back to Temptation later in the day. The adult games are over the top and the naked Congo line is a blast. Yes woman have to remove their tops before the boat will leave the dock. Be sure and make reservations online before you leave. The boat fills up fast.

However, you can take a van to Desire Rivera Maya and purchase a day or evening pass or both. We did this ourselves. We loved it so much we went back several times and stayed that that resort.

We love temptation! All inclusive, amazing staff, shows, and a sexy vibe. We go every year.

All of these resorts afford you the ability to take or leave your level of wild. There's a very strict code of conduct that emphasizes consent. We will say that rule breakers are usually single men and the occasional inebriated couple. If you want to minimize disrespectful encounters, you should seek a couples only resort. If you don't, just keep an eye on each other.
There are no ideal times. It's not like local clubs or resorts in the states. These places have no trouble being fully booked 7 days per week. Honestly, you'd be lucky at this point to get a reservation for many in January or February. Typically at least six months out or more, especially when demand is high during the winter.
