We seen this on the news a couple weeks ago....freaken hilarious....Bet the councilmen really likes his view now!!!!

Good one WEB_COUPLE...I love that story and followed it...but I never did hear of any type of resolution? Any news?

Thought Garden, to answer your question as to the resolution: The matter was reviewed by the city council and by attorneys. It was determined that it was free expression of art, since the home owner declared it was not an obscene jester, rather the form of a plant like a cactus. The city could not enforce having the home owner take down the design. (By the way, when the story was aired on T.V., they blurred out the image in order not to offend anyone). The home owner and the neighbors finally partially resolved some of their differences and the design was removed and replaced by a more conventional vent. The issues that caused the incident extended far beyond the hieght of the house.. that was just the final straw for the man building his new home. Regardless of who was wrong or right, it was fun to see some humor in resolve an issue without gunfire and threats of violence.
