We just stayed a week at the new LS resort located in the Dominican Republic and have a few observations, pros, cons… etc.
We got a group of 4 couples total to go on this trip, and if you’re planning on going we’d recommend also bringing some friends. While we met some great new couples on the trip, and some of our friends found play partners, the current occupancy is low. Plenty of employees per guest, so they are very attentive to serving you. This resort is about 8 months old now, so they’re still trying to build clientele.
We’ll start with the pros… the Play Makers were AMAZING! These are the employees whose job it is to put on fun activities by the pool, beach, and other areas of the resort. These guys and girls are all sexy and fun, and are really great at keeping energy levels up. Coffee, Chocolate, Cuba, and Exotic were our standouts for the 7 days we were there, with Coffee and Cuba shining. They could get the party started, or just interact with guests. We saw Coffee just quietly playing cards with one of the much older guests for over an hour.
Another pro is with your stay at Temptation Grand you also have access to the regular Temptation located just across a small bridge. The differences being Temptation is equal to what Temptation Cancun is, and Temptation Grand is equal to Desire Pearl in the Cancun area. If you stay at the higher end Temptation grand you double your restaurant, pool, gym, and party access. Guests staying at the regular Temptation do not have access to Temptation Grand. The names may be a little confusing, so we heard the higher end side will probably change their name to Desire in the near future.
Another pro is the nude/play areas… Temptation Grand is definitely similar to Desire RM and Desire Pearl in that there are designated play areas located on property. They have a MASSIVE hot tub on one of the second floors where anything goes in the water as well as the many beds surrounding it. They also have a large play area through one of the doorways in the club. All play areas are stocked with towels and the club playroom surfaces are all vinyl for easy clean up.
The design of both Temptation and Temptation Grand Miches resorts are beautiful… with a few caveats.
Here are some cons:
The resorts were hit by a hurricane and the higher end Temptation Grand seems to have been rushed to completion as we believe the sister resort was farther along in the construction process. Both have build quality issues, but on the surface there were more issues at the higher end resort. Visible leaks in bathrooms, restaurants, poor choice in materials that do NOT withstand the humid climate… again, beautiful design, but the resort looks like it’s ten years old, not 8 months old. Whoever chose materials for such a humid location cost this resort millions in renovations and repairs that will have to take place sooner than later. We saw them ripping out the public restrooms door trim that is made of particle board laminate found in IKEA furniture with… more of the same material. This door trim in our suites bathroom had already expanded like a sponge from the nearby shower.
Another con… the infrastructure in the area these two resorts are located are non existent. There are no nearby excursions, jungle trips, boat rentals, fishing trips, wave runners, ATV drives. Nothing. If you go, plan on it being a relaxing, sexy vacation, and nothing more. We’re glad we brought friends, because that made the trip fun for us.
Another con… while there are a lot of employees, they need to be trained better. As such, we saw that they brought resort supervision from the Mexican resorts to these new Dominican resorts to help them get going. They need it. Everyone is super nice, but we often got conflicting and confused information on food allergies, and most of the staff knew little to no English. I had to translate for our group quite a lot.
Another con… restaurants had no overlap from breakfast lunch and dinner. There was an hour (or more) waiting period between. The hours of operation for each restaurant wasn’t posted anywhere, and it seemed they opened restaurants up at random. We showed up to different restaurants half a dozen times right when they were closing and were turned away. While this may have been due to our own natural eating schedules, we often had to buck up and wait. Also, food was mediocre across both resorts, with the best food being the two hibachi style restaurants at both resorts.
Overall we had a great time. We had a better time because there was 8 of us. With a little more time and training the Dominican Republic LS resorts can turn into something REALLY fun. We can’t imagine how fun it would be at full or close to full capacity. Quality issues here and there did not stop our vibe. Good time with good friends made for a very memorable trip 🏝️

We're premier members of Temptations but have also frequently been to Desore RM and Pearl, enjoying RM and Pearl the best. We've been trying to decide whether or not to try the new Miches resort. Might just have to get a group together and try it out.
Great review information. Thank you! We are hesitant to go until it gets more popular. Limited guests are perfect for a normal resort but not ideal for Desire/Temptations.
We’ve Never been but want to. Our 2 concerns are:
1- our ownership at RM, that was expensive as hell, brings us zero value if we go here.
2- the flights almost eliminated 2 days of resort time.
These two reasons have kept us from going.

We just booked to go Feb 24th to March 2nd. It will be our second time at the resort. We agree with your review to a point . We had no issues at all with our room. Never saw any leaking or weather related problems.
But honestly loved it not being super crowded. We have been to Cancun, it was honestly such a relief to only have 100 people in the pool compared to 1000. By the end of our trip we knew almost all of the other guests by name, had many awesome hookups, and loved the fact that you never had to get up at 6am to get a daybed at the pool!! About 6 of the couples we met and became friends with are booking at the same time for a reunion trip! If you are looking for 5 star this is not the place. yet. If you are looking for 2000 people at your resort this is not the place( unless you count both resorts together because they are side by side) But if you are looking for one of the most laid back LS nude and beautiful resorts you have ever been to I strongly advise you to book it. We specially encourage you to hit us up and go when we are!!
