Plenty of action and people in Florida.... from cenetral FL to NW to Deltona to out on the thingy to the west.... Hey it's a senior moment.... I'm entitled... Besides it works to everyones advantag... I can't talk about people, and next time we meet it's all new again... LOL...
As to the snow.... I thought I was getting away from snow moving here 25 years ago and ran into ice storms and people who ccan't or won't learn to drive in what little snow we get and officials who haven't a clue as to how to handle snowfall here.... Luckily we don't get too many hericanes( not misspelled it's the ones named for women that are worse....thus *HER*) But we do get some shifting of old mother earth... At least sand doesn't have earthquakes...Just wet feet, knees, waists and first floors of dwellings.. And what is really funny is that the only way to grow a lawn in central FL is to water it regularly... with water only 6" down...Have a friend in Sebring.......

we all have our own things...as to Hurricanes...they are not as bad as they are cracked up to be...UNLESS you live in New Orleans or the beach....BUT every area of the country has them...they just call them something else...A Nor Easter in the North East...I know that...Becaus that is where I am from....Originally...But everyone gets them....they just don't cry about it like in New Orleans....I knew when I was 6, living in Bufflao that if a hurricane hit New Orleans it was gone...yet people live there...Wonder what you think when you sit in your yard and a boat goes by above your home...not the top of the boat mind you...but the bottom of the boat is above you home....the RIVER is above you home...Lets see? Do I want to stay here? NOOOOOOOO

as far as anyone being interested in us? they are usually in fl,ca,al,utah,nc,sd,wa. We join this site because we thought people from texas were here.
