Swingers Forum - Clothing Optional Hot Springs in Utah?

line
Previous Post Next Post
We're looking for hot spings in Utah that could be clothing optional for when the weather warms up. So far we've found Fifth Water Hot Springs in Diamond Fork Canyon near Springville/Spanish Fork and Baker Hot Springs near Nephi. Can anyone who's been there give a review? And are there others we should consider? We understand that they may not be "approved" but we would love to know which places are typically nude-friendly. We would appreciate any and all insight. Thanks.
Great clean springs out here by Fillmore...not private tho

There is a place west of I-15 between Brigham and Tremonton, can't remember the exact location, that isn't that known and you may be able to get some time there.

Stinky Hot Springs

Stinky Hot Springs is on private property so you wouldn't get a ticket if naked.

Fifth Water was a great place to skinny dip 25 years ago but not so much anymore as the place has become very popular, and that includes a lot of families and children. FWIW - Skinny-dipping anywhere in Utah County is illegal and Utah County has been cracking down on violators recently. For us to constantly be watching over our shoulder for law enforcement, families and children kind of take the fun out of skinny dipping there.

Saratoga Hot Spring were also a popular skinny dipping spot 25 years ago, but not today as it's suffered the same fate as Fifth Water, but worse as the nearby housing developments have crowded in.

Meadow Hot Spring is also another hot spring that was great to skinny dip in 25 years ago, but I wouldn't even consider it today.

We've never been to Baker Hot Springs out by Delta so I can't comment.

Picture of a typical afternoon at Fifth Water these days.
Baker has become very busy on the weekends with families during the day and local teenagers out partying all night Friday and Saturdays.
Fifth water, otherwise known as Diamond fork. Google maps will lead you to it. Enjoy!
This is on our bucket list too, some out door naked fun, ;-)
That’s all we do in the summer is find camping spots usually in the west desert where no clothes are required and the closest camp is miles away
Stinky / Old Indian Hot Springs is the best for going naked if the strong sulphuric smell does not bother you. It is very therapeutic too.

Ogden Hot Springs has been opened back up just over a year ago. Good to go at night but usually 10-25 there so bring suits or coverup just in case. Like Diamond Fork/Fifth Water and Saratoga, Ogden HS has just got very popular.

If only a few, like often at Stinky or if Ogden HS is not busy can often make suttle comment about other hot springs clothing optional to any close by and those there might also prefer to be clothing optional but wearing a suit to not offend you. Several times at Stinky wore suit and as soon as others realize others prefer to be without they take their off or share that they do not mind if you go with or without.

Nude Salt Flats - "The Beach" sans water
Another great place to get naked is "The Beach", Salt Lake's version of nude beach. It is the nude salt flats but no good water nearby so not technically a beach but is a great place to get fully or partially naked and hang out in the sun alone or with others. The general vibe is usually relaxed and friendly. The north end is typically more social, often where most gay guys tend to hang out most and all are welcome.
General recommendation is avoid North end if you don't want to socialize, want people saying hello or small chatting. The south end is best if wanting to be left alone.

Directions - can share additional info on email here or kik extremexlr8 but basic directions are: take the 2nd Grantsville exit, head north to Stansbury Island. At the first intersection once you hit the south end of the island "The Beach" is the north-west corner. Three entrances to get over the sage brush.
South - take left at intersection toward salt plant. Once it opens to salt flats take right and follow car tracks North.
Middle entrance - just past the rock query will be a dirt road on west side. Avoid this with low profile vehicles as there is a small sand berm that could get stuck. SUVs usually have no problem and some cars just get some speed right before going over sand berm.
North entrance- on West side of road before passing the fence "no trespassing" signs. Heading west there will be a fork, stay to the right and takes you to northern most part of the nude beach.
Drive close to sage brush or follow existing car tracks. Every year some, often trucks thinking they have 4x4 drive, drive out far from the sage brush and sink down to their axels. Staying close to sage brush and don't go right after it rains hard and will be safe. The Beach is a great place to spend an hour or two, the whole day, or camping in the summer. Small gnats can be bad a few weeks in the spring but most of summer a great place to get fully or partially naked. There are a handful of Nudist, Gay, smaller EDM events/campout out here every summer.

Our nude group is having a clothing optional camp out at a hot spring the end of the month. if you're interested shoot me an email I'll get you more info. Though it is non-sexual it's still pretty fun and a great chance to meet some awesome people.
