Is New Yorker open tonight?

The NYer is only open on Sat nights 9pm-2am. Fri and Sun are for private events. To get into the NYer you must be a member of their private FB group or be friends with someone that is and will vouch for you.
How do you find their FB group?
It's private. So you can't find it unless a member of the group sends you an invite.
My wife and I have been thinking of going too, to try and get to know people in person, but sounds like we should start at the small get togethers instead?

We feel the same way... Like the FB group, why? So closed lip about it as well, like it's a special group that gets admitted, and only the people from private FB group can attend... But noone shares any info about the group... Let's just get a group that meets at a bar regularly, just an open invitation for any like minded people. Doesn't seem difficult??

The Facebook group is their way to vet people. The owner is fighting the city in regards to holding lifestyle events there. Also helps to keep out non-lifestyle people. Meeting someone in the group and then asking them to "sponsor" you would be my recommendation. Someone in the group can also bring you in the door, but it is a risk for the sponsor. There is a cover charge of $50 per couple with the exception of possibly special events. I hope this clears up some of the confusion and aggravation. The owner is trying to keep the place open and safe for people in the lifestyle.

I can appreciate that! I imagine it’s a pain dealing with the city. I can also appreciate keeping the environment to lifestyle individuals. Makes perfect sense. Hopefully we can find someone who will chat with us and sponsor us. We are an experienced lifestyle couple just looking for the opportunity to go.

We went to unspoken last night in Ogden….so fun. Can wait to try the New Yorker. Hoping someone will be willing to sponsor us.
