We’re not calling anyone out or anything. Just have noticed a trend lately with user accounts that reach out to us and we’ll respond fairly quickly. Said it was read but never get any response.
To further elaborate there has been times where users have reached out months apart and acted like it was a fresh convo and always fail to respond.
So to my opening question. Does anyone know if you block someone. Can you send messages to someone you’ve blocked and then if said blocked user responds you never get the response and said response gets auto flagged read?

It’s more likely they are lazy which is sad. I hate that as well they come on strong and then ghost you.
Check your blocked list it will say who you have blocked but there is no way to tell if they have blocked you
