Well since he is not doing what you like then he must not be working for you. Besides the military is doing a job it does not matter what political party the CinC is from. They do their job so you can continue live the way you do.

Come on WELFARE boy get your political parties right. Plus I said the president does not work for you since he is not doing what you want him to do. I am not a big fan of Pres. Bush, but I am a big fan of the working man/woman and the military personnel are working people. They US military is the most advanced because is the quality of the people.
Each navy ship that leaves the pier is a floating city, the army/marines can set up a small town in the middle of nowhere. The military has it problems and it good points. They do a job and they do it well. So don't call military people stupid or welfare because they are not.

Don't forget half of your handle was a military man but most of the windmills are gone so nothing for you to slay anymore.

Don Jaunnabe, all you do is take whatever the president and goverment says and say the opposite. You just take things out of context to make an argument. You sound very anti-american. You just bought into everything that was said negitive about bush. (like you said we buy in to whatever bush says), what makes you an expert on how it really is. You have know idea about the true politics, none of us do.
Just enjoy this country and all the freedom it gives us.

As a Military man, let me give you my simple take of of Don Jaun here.

Says he has 11 years aboard the fine ships of the US Navy.. Must have been either a Marine or Sailor.

Stayed in over ten years ... Must have meant to make the Military a career and retire from it one day.

Didn't make it to 20 so he could retire.. Must not have had what it takes to make it or did something really stupid and was thrown out of the military.. Hence, his bad attitude about the military and those in the military with the skills and ambition to be able to finish their career in the military.

Makes me proud to have served three years in combat and and seventeen more defending the rights of individuals that call me a welfare case.

So Don Jaun, go ahead and run your sarcastic mouth every chance you get, simply to remind me of what a wonderful job all of the military have done to ensure that even ignorant Americans, have the opportunity to celebrate all of their freedoms.. Including the right to free speach.

He doesn't work for the people. He represents the people. He with the rest of the elected officials represent the people. He doesn't do your laundry, take out your trash or walk your dog. He is honorably selected by his peers to manage the countries business.

How about this, try calling him up on the phone and giving him a task to do. How about it boss man? As far as the military goes, we are a large weapon for the president/congress to wield how they deem fit. We take no orders from you as the president takes none from you. You can picket, protest and froth at the mouth all you want bossman, but the war machine rolls on. You are helpless to stop it. Just because someone criticizes the government or the president does not make them unpatriotic. Actually that is exacly what being a citizen of the United States is all about. Most people talk about our democracy which shows what they know.... This is not a democracy but a Republic.... But before the shit hits the fan here... here are what some of our former leaders had to say about our responsibility as citizens...

I could go on but then there are those who would say that I am un patriotic... *Contraire* These are simply quotations from the writer of the Constitution and 3 rd President of the United States.... While I do not always agree with tilting windmills, it is sometimes good to examine the intent and not necessarily the words of the speaker. This can be a difficult task in this medium but this country is no longer our country it belongs to big business and money. Party affiliation matters NOT! I have seen this country going to hell for quite sometime. I am a Viet Nam vet who disagreed with the government then and knew if an unlawful order was given what my duty was and is. The oath of office into the military is to obey all LAWFUL orders given me but the officers, the President and those appointed over me... NOT BLINDLY obey....

People can sit here and defend BS until they taste it ... and to those who are or have been in the military..... Fully 30% of all enlisted people are requiring food stamps and medical attention not paid for by the military any more..... I think that too much of the budget for the military goes to profiteers and not legitimate funds. Some say we have the best trained military and the best equiped ....... No body armor, no vehicle armor and leadership who sit with the troops and cry over dead comrads... Barracks set up to aid the enemy in their ability to kill our troops at will... Strategic planning based on what wants to be accomplished and not what is real in the area and time frame.... Yes we have brave dumb trained kids and indegent or previously indigent people dying for our freedom which is being gobbled up by corporations and the government.

Lets keep our head where the sun don't shine and our kids and grandkids will live in a world where we can't put our head out the door because of polution and fear that we'll have another condition of terrorism flamed but business who make profit from fear and ignorance...

So Don While I do npt agree with much of what you say I also don't agree with too much of the personal attacks on you because of your views... If you don't like what someone says base discussion on fact not the opinion of what you believe that person is saying.. Better to ask what that person means by what they say and if they cannot respond in what you think is a coherent way then simply state your opinion and leave it at that... One can not teach what someone is unwilling to learn.
