We're going with a group and it's our first time. We're wondering what to expect. We know no street clothes are allowed and that cloaks and eye masks are required, there's no re-entry, and doors close at 9:30. Are there different play areas? Are they all public or are there some private spaces? What else can you tell us?
I think it will depend on the location. Last time we went it was all open play area with a seperate dungeon.
How do you go about finding groups?
Our group is just friends I told about it who want to go.

We are attending as first timers as well! We went to the NYE party, pretty disappointing, ended up leaving and going to the NYer...

Yeeesss!!! If we aren't having fun we'll have our own party at our room.
For the price I expected there to be play spaces and player cards. It ended early too and the after party got shut down early.

We didn't arrive until after 9, but some things we didn't like were that is was too bright. There were card tables set up next to the dance floor and with the bright room jt wasn't conducive for dancing or anything sexy. There were not many people either. Sleepy energy.

Same here. It felt more like a hangout but with no seating. We still had fun but it was largely due to my own ridiculousness. We did go to a planning meeting though and did make suggestions so hopefully it helped.

We mainly had fun dressing up faux-fancy. Also, Mystique enjoyed the zappy table and MistahJ enjoyed watching her enjoy it.

How did the eyes wide open event turn out? We couldn’t make it but really want to attend the next one.
After learning that it was at the hotel, our expectations were very low. But it turned out awesome, and they should go it again there. We think it was a success... just maybe less blow-up furniture next time 🤣
We had a great time! I loved watching the girls ride the sibian and I thought the play area was set up well.
The sybian was quite fun!
