What does a ‘professional couple’ mean?

I guess you want it to mean you are successful professionals? But maybe you are the most woke couple ever, because you are professionals at it?

Haha. It just seems kind of funny. We laugh at the limitless possibilities of what a ‘professional couple’ is.
Hmmm and yet your profile says “We’ve got kids and professional careers, therefore discretion is a must”.

I didn’t realize “professional careers” required extra discretion … who knew 🤷🏼‍♀️
We're rank amateurs in every sense of the word.

I believe in the context of this group the short answer is it's a polite way of saying we're not assholes.

Your mileage may vary...
Now we’re talking! Lolz

Just having fun really, but we find it funny. 😜
And yes! We do have professional careers!!! But I’m not sure we’ve graduated to 'professional couple' statusas yet. i mean, we're always working at it, even here for gods' sake! 😘

If I'm not mistaken, there's quite a bit of coursework involved and a rather rigorous licensing exam before you can claim professional couplehood. IMO, the worst part is having to attend yearly recertification classes at the annual PC convention and having to mingle with the other PCs who are, quite frankly, arseholes.
Professional and yes, we show up in suits and ties to play!!!

I'll say stay amateur, being a PC is not worth the headaches. We have several complaints against us and open ongoing investigation for mistreatment of single males on the California Board of Professional Couples. Plus we are usually behind in our yearly continuous education requirements.

Doctors Daniel and Susana Perez-Lisboa, CALPC (California Licensed Professional Couple)
maybe they are just really really good at being a couple?

Well, "professional" generally means you get paid to do something... We're maintaining our amateur status, so we can still compete in the Olympics.

Bring us the gold, sexies!
That’s comedy…. Aren’t we all (hopefully)
