What is the new yorker?we keep hearing about it but know nothing?
It’s open every Saturday and doors open at 9:00 PM most don’t get there until after 10:00 PM, closes at 2:00 AM. It’s bring your own alcohol and they provide the mixers and pour for you (tip the bartenders!). There is a cover charge ($30 for couples). The address is 60 west market street, it’s in the old New Yorker restaurant under market street grill. Dress is pretty much what you want but would suggest dressing like you would for a typical club, some come dressed and strip down to lingerie or less. NYE they are asking for no jeans and tshirts to be dressed up. There are a few hotels close by, most we would say stay at the Hilton. There is a private Facebook page that you must be Facebook friends first before you can be invited, if we haven’t met you we will not invite you (sorry).

Yes for NYE it is open but will be open tomorrow night as well.

So lets clear this up. Ive been told we can just show up....and ive been told about the face book thing. So can i just show up with my wife or do i need a invite.?
We have never been. Going tonight though. What I gather is it's semi black tie, masks if you want, lingerie for the ladies if you want. It's supposedly beneath the market street grill. No rsvp needed just show up and pay cover.
Say it opens at 8 but most ppl get there around 10
I have been before. Yes you just show up. You do not have to be invited. You do not have to be part of the Facebook page to be invited.

Single males are allowed but pay the same cover as couples ($50 for NYE).
