Hello swingular friends. Just wondering if anyone could provide some information on Crystal Hot Springs? Like is it as good as or better than Lava Hot Springs? We have enjoyed Lava over the past several years and I believe we pass Crystal on the way to Lava, but never stopped to see what it was all about. Anything we should know before we go? Thanks in advance and hope everyone has a wonderful new year!
Crystal is great. Multiple pools and high mineral content. Just don't go on a saturday. Sundays usually have a cool crowd.
when are you guys going so we can join
is Crystal a nudist friendly springs?

Sweet. That’s what we were hoping to hear. Thank you!

Not exactly sure. It would probably be a spur of the moment “let’s go now” type of thing. Things don’t usually work out when we plan things.

Not even a little bit. It's more like a public rec center pool with hot tubs.

Don’t think it’s nudist friendly. But we are. ☺️

That is awesome so are we
It’s ok but the quality of the hot springs at lava is better. Hotels suck at lava.

There was one hotel that we did enjoy at Lava called “The Harkness Hotel”. Somewhat short drive to get to the springs, but that particular hotel was pretty nice. But yeah, most of them not so great.

The Harkness is by far one of the coolest hotels in the West. Amazing restoration. Would be really fun with a group of friends!

New to utah.. so forgive ignorance.. but we would be very interested in nudist friendly hot springs you can access in the winter.
Only public ones that are off the beaten path. And technically they aren’t either but not enforceable. Nothing in Utah is nudity friendly. There are some hot spring groups that put some things on but again not “official”.

5th Water Hot Springs is a possibility. It is not developed, and you have to hike in. Strictly speaking, it is not a nudist site. However, since you have to hike to get to it, you can often find it secluded, and you could get away with going in nude.

I have heard Orvis Hot Springs in Colorado is clothing optional. That sounds like a fun place to visit as well.
I have swam at crystal nude, i have special access. After hour parties are fun
Well you found the right person we can talk about it and possibly plan something

If you put something together, we'd love to hear about it too.

Orvis is one of my favorite places, especially in the summer. It has very nice gardens with open spaces to lay out in the sun or shade in between soaks in the multiple soaking pools. We have stayed there several times.
hey can you send me the info we will love to come after ourselves
I went to Orvis this past October, great place, but definitely more of a hippie vibe than a lifestyle vibe.
