Do people come up to you and touch you? My wife is nervous about that and doesn't want anyone touching her or me.

We have yet been to a Lifestyle event where people come up and touch without consent (at least in the recent past few years). New Yorker is great.

If someone is getting touchy without permission, throw their ass out of the club & don’t have anything to do with them. If they don’t have enough respect to have a conversation & ask, they won’t respect your wife, boundaries etc. This happened recently at a LS resort we were at & the guy was completely ostracized.

Hi, I’m the wife of this pair! Honestly, I feel like the New Yorker is the best way to acclimate to this lifestyle. I’m much more nervous about meeting someone one on one in a intimate setting. No one has EVER touched me without permission and I feel totally safe that this would never happen. I would encourage anyone new (as we are still) to go to the New Yorker. You’ll be happy you did.

Open Saturday nights. Sometimes open on Fridays but those are special events reserved for ones that are invited. Ross has also rented it out on Fridays for non LS events.

OMG. Y'all are tripping. Calling me a dumbass and douchbag right away? Wow!!! Sickening. I heard there were 3 DJ's, rave theme. I didn't go. Wasn't there that night.

Took vanillas interested and new to LS one night (you were new once too, FACT) and would have wanted to go during Rave Theme. Had a blast on non theme night.

Hope you feel dumb complaining now that I've had to bother clarifying. There is no defending your response. I don't know what else to say except i hope it wasn't none of you that we had fun with on the first night we went. Damn. We will be regulars now regardless of you. We enjoyed ourselves. People enjoyed us.

You Lehi, Park City and West Jordan people seem to have lost it and not be able to read. We had fun. Knew what it was. Probably tipped 4 times what you did to the DJ (if you did at all) when we went. Bartender was paid x 4. You know what? Don't care about your comments. Weak non-deterrent. We had a blast and seemed to be a hit according to the ladies and gents giving us a hand. Learn to be more stable because this aggression is not a good look.

That sucks! They said "it's not always this busy" when I was there. I guess not enough people support the place on a regular basis. That's too bad because it really is a nice cozy place.

Typically we wouldn’t call newbies “vanillas”. A lot of couples want some discretion (granted they are in a LS club) and vanillas wouldn’t appreciate that as well as it increases the chances for being “exposed”. We do hope it was just a poor choice of words. If anyone thinks it’s a good idea to bring vanillas (not newbies or those interested in the lifestyle) to lifestyle clubs/events, don’t. It’s just disrespectful to the community in a whole and will quickly get you excluded by many.

There is a reason. Those new to the lifestyle are nervous and scared to go cuz of outsiders (vanillas) being there. Vanillas don't know the rules nor respect the lifestyle. I've heard some bad stories that have happened. The veterans tend to do private gatherings and house parties.

That would make sense. Someone in the lifstyle showed me where it's at. If you didn't know you would walk right past it. Personally I would feel safer around strangers there than at someone's home. If someone had a party and they decided to get hostile then you're trapped! I've had house parties but with only people I know. I wouldn't want strangers there. Now at a club...strangers can become friends and then be invited to the house party : )

Wtf? You brought vanillas to a LS club? Why? This club is specifically lifestyle. This is why it's only open in a limited capacity and only advertised on LS sites. Did you warn these vanilla's?
And it wasn't a rave, it was a hosted bday party with a DJ that was a cluster fuck because people who had no business being there, IE Vanillas who didn't know the rules or what the fuck was happening were brought in. 🤦‍♀️

Bartender thanked us for tipping the dj and introduced us to the owner which happened to be standing there. My group will be regulars and I will be adding to my group. We were welcomed by all we came in contact with and all 4 of us even had some sexy time in one of the back rooms with an audience. It's not my job to clarify your poorly worded soundbite. This can't be your first day on the internet. You need to use the appropriate language. Vanilla and newbies are not the same thing. You're also getting caught in an ongoing issue with people being invited to a space they're unprepared for and behaving poorly in. Given your initial wording, you got smacked. Given your additional responses, not these cleaned up versions, you deserved it. And given this group, your "knowing and being introduced to" the owner, whose name you don't know, doesn't actually help you as much as you might think.

please please please don't bring vanilla people to this space.,. you are ruining what sacred spaces the ls is trying to hold.. There is a reason we have a fb group and don't announce to the public about events.. IFYKYK.. DONT BRING VANILLAS! this is not the space for them.. Literally every club is vanilla. Updates will not happen on here. The group as a whole is bummed its being promoted so loosely. There are more and more people who are there that are making the LS people uncomfortable. There are ways to bring people in and introduce.. just do it the right way. End Rant

You need to be with a member or part of the FB group. You can risk it and see if they let you in but the last few friends we have invited got stopped at the door. We had to come vouch for them. This Saturday the theme is Sheer and the music is EDM. We won’t be there (not fans of EDM).

Shame, we only have tonight free, how do I get myself into the FBook group for the future?

We have been and really enjoyed it.
