Is anyone here going to the Moon Palace Cancun for the Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds event? We'd love to connect with likeminded folks attending.
When is it?
Unfortunately, all three shows are sold out, 2/18 to 2/20. What is the resort like? We're planning a trip to Cancun in Feb. and haven't decided which resort to try. Suggestions?

We go to Mexico a couple times a year. We fly to Cancun every January for 2 weeks to get out of the snow, not for the LS. Moon Palace is really nice, but expensive. What are you going for? What do you like to do? Are you looking for an all inclusive resort at a great price? Do you want a LS resort? Family friendly or adults only? Do you want a resort in the Cancun hotel district with all the night clubs and parties or a more laid back and peaceful resort along the Riveria Maya? How long are you going for and what's your budget?
Anyhoo.... a little more information and perhaps we can make a recommendation.
Pro Tip - many of the resorts have great black Friday and cyber Monday deals if you book direct on-line.
All inclusive, adults only resort is preferred. We're thinking laid back over party scene. The budget isn't a concern but want the best bang for the buck. Open to LS resorts but don't know what they're like. Hoping for a week of fun and relaxation with the possibility to socialize with other fun adults. Thanks for the info.
I was between this and Avett at the Beach. I decided on the latter. Boo!!! Nice to know there are other DMB fans here though! Ever go to the Gorge?

We are planning to go to cancun in June probably mid June, is this a good time to go? Looking for advices this will be our first time it will be just the two of us,.
June is an good month to enjoy the Riviera Maya. We prefer to go during the winter months Jan/Feb, but so does everyone else.

How was the Dave show? I went down the following week for Phish…Dave sat in for a few songs the first night. The Moon Palace was wicked fun!
