We have a new Bullfrog spa as well, and it’s warranty on the shell seemed pretty good to us. The warranty in general seems solid on new spas. We can’t speak for older ones.

You’re absolutely right, Bullfrog Spas case they called him Isotech defects. It’s what happens when Houston freezes, and they buy a few thousand sheets of acrylic from India. I can tell everyone has a 20 year veteran in the pool and spa game, I have worked with and for many spa manufacturers over the years
As of right now, and probably well into 2023. Manufacturers are dealing with upwards of a 30% failure rate
Difference I saw in bullfrog, is that they don’t blink an eye at replacing you spa if there’s a shell defect or major plumbing leak.
Companies looking to uphold there reputation Bullfrog, master spas, Clearwater & Viking
Stay away from. Sundance, Jacuzzi, Hot Spring, Watkins or any Costco spas

Sad to see all of you go got the bull frog we are local and the best hype. Next time you shop look into arctic spa. They have a salt water tub that bull frog doesn’t have. It’s so much easier to maintain and so soft on your skin. No stinky smelling body from the chemicals. Yup you probably pay more. 2 of our friends ditched their bull frogs for arctic. Come soak in ours and you will be a convert. 😎

We don’t think it’s hype. We chose our specific jet packs that are tailored for back and neck injuries that we both have. We were able to place the packs exactly where we want them to fit our body types in the spa, taking into account different seating heights in our tub.
It’s not just about the lounging/relaxing aspect for us… it’s hydro therapy with specific jets that we chose to help work our injuries. We noticed while shopping around with other manufacturers that the jets wouldn’t hit us in the right spots because we’re both small, the seating was too deep in most spots, and we had zero choice on what jets were used.
The wifey is sensitive to chlorine, but the chemicals that are out there now reduce that down to almost zero feelings of chemicals on your body when getting out. We use Silk Balance with shock and it’s been great so far. We had looked into the salt water tubs, and while they do sound very nice, that just wasn’t our cup of tea… we’d like to try a salt water spa someday, but not necessarily own one… salt wears out and destroys components. That’s just the nature of it… try looking under your car to see how rusted out and worn the under carriage is from all the salt on the roads.
I’ve owned two Bullfrogs and even while shopping around with other companies, we still went back to Bullfrog. We’re supporting a Utah business and their workers, they have a great warranty, have options and innovations nobody else offers, they have square modern exteriors now that look fantastic, and we can tailor our spa specifically for us.
The other thing we noticed when shopping around… other companies are quick to trash Bullfrog. When we mentioned to the Bullfrog salesperson that we were considering other companies they didn’t have a bad word to speak against them. They focused on telling us about why they stand out. Your product should sell itself without the need for bashing the competition. 🤷🏽♂️

We moved to a new home this year and the tub wasn’t in a shaded area anymore. With the heat wave we had this last summer we had a spot on the shell that looked like it melted and had a bubble in it. I thought they’re send someone out with an industrial size hair dryer and shape it back into place or something….they replaced the whole tub. It was pretty nice.

Well they have blinked a eye on ours. It’s starting to get ugly going to end up in court. They admit the shell has problems. But they say it won’t hurt anything. Every month we get another bubble in the tub. The shell has totally faded already. The only thing that dose work is the jet packs. So you may know someone who has a good one. But I can introduce you to ten who have the same garbage as us
Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of us in the tub, but I will make sure to get some! We are adding a pool this summer (hopefully) and will be looking for fun and sexy friends to christen it with! We can't wait to meet a lot of you at Redemption in a week!

We take this hot tub camping with us. it's heated with the wood fire and a copper coil. Probably going to switch to propane Heat this year. we bought a bigger tub and the copper coils having a tough time heating it without burning wood all day long. It gets expensive and a lot of work.

Don’t mind the little bit of foam… I had just put in purple Hot Tub Serum (done weekly), and that’s what it does initially. Pretty good stuff for maintaining water, but don’t like the foaming much tbh. You have to scoop the foam out. Any other similar products anyone recommends? We’ve also done Silk Balance and that was just okay.
