There is talk that if attendance at the New Yorker does not increase it may cease to be a lifestyle club and be open to the general public. Currently it is open every Sat from 9pm - 2am to all lifestyle activities. $30 a couple and BYOB. 60 W Market St in the basement. This place is amazing and we need to keep it open. Great place to meet and mingle, dance and do whatever your heart desires. Let's keep this place open to the lifestyle.

We have been there a couple times, great place to dance flirt get a little handsy if permitted, some PDA. Have seen some consensual activities. Have not seen any gang rape type stuff. Or anything against someone's will or consent. Sorry to hear if it happened I don't think it's a regular thing.

We’ve only gone twice and have never seen or heard of anything negative or crazy like that. We’ve mainly seen some exhibitionism with their own spouses and between the wives. There were a few single males and we didn’t notice any issues. Overall it’s quite tame compared to Vegas clubs. The only negative we can think of is there wasn’t a lot of people when we went.
Why not have large meet and greets there instead of public vanilla venues. There aren’t other places like this in Salt Lake and we would be sad to see it go. Announcements by the owners on the homepage local events section might help since it almost seems secretive. Perhaps a large showing this Saturday the 25th?

We were there two weeks ago, great time big crowd. Then we went this past Saturday. Maybe a total of 6 couples.. Was very disappointed.. It’s easy to go.. Walk in pay your 30.00, give the bar tender your drinks… They do the mixing, you enjoy the3 night. That is, if anyone else shows up.
We are thinking about going tonight. We have never been. Is it $30 each person or is that for a couple. From what we read, you bring your own drink and let the bartender pour it. Does that include wine as far as keeping it chilled and serving in a glass? Also, we are unsure of where it is located and if you need to currently be a member or a sponsor being required? What time do people usually show up and how late does it stay open?

It is $30 for a couple. It is BYOB. It can be wine, beer, liquor, or whatever you want. They keep it chilled, provide the cups and mixers. It is located at 60 W Market St in SLC. It's in the basement of the old New Yorker restaurant. Entrance is on the west side of the building, down the outside stairs. No membership or code word needed. Doors open at 9, most people show up around 10.

It is standard club fare. Dress to impress, sleek, sexy, you can even be "extra" the general weekend is normal club vibe. But where you can talk openly and make many friends.
We went and found it to be very fun! An exciting way to see the LS in action...in more than one way! Making friends with like minded couples in a place where we all can feel comfortable and dance and definetly soak up the vibe! We look forward meeting new folks like us too! Lots of fun!

It was a decent crowd but not the biggest. Also, there have been weeks that are not as big. Hopefully this is a positive trend!

NYer is open every Sat 9pm-2am. It's located at 60 W Market St in SLC in the basement, entrance is on the west side. Theme nights are only every once in a while and they can usually be found here on swingular.

So far it seems you have to use Facebook(?) to get an invite, or alternatively just turn up and get questioned about the lifestyle? Just show up as a couple any Saturday with a bottle, some cash for tips and a $30 entry fee. You shouldn't be questioned or anything. If you check the encounters on this website there is a couple that has been posting information about theme nights, if you care to participate in the theme.

Unfortunately, that seems to be true. A lot of misinformation gets spun right here in these forums with multiple threads on the place only repeating the cycle. It's really not that difficult though.
By paying attention it should be obvious who the couples are here that have been and truly know. Generalizations and outrageous claims are to be taken lightly. Avoid anyone inviting you to PM them for information. They are usually a source of misinformation and more interested in promoting themselves than the club. Often they have been removed from groups and email distribution or had memberships revoked by organizers for their behavior. If you sense a couple goes and knows, do PM them and they will help.
There are more people eager to get into the private FB group than actually attend. Mods/admin, who include the club owner/organizer, know this and so they have an ongoing screening process to protect honest patrons from undesirables. Lurkers and creeps are not welcome in the group or at the club.
There are truly private events held on nights other than Saturdays, but any "invitation" for a Saturday is not a formal one. Just like any venue, there are the published rules and the implied ones more common to the LS. Be savvy and carry yourselves like you've been invited. Let the lady lead the way in and have your payment ready. Dress the part and be friendly. Pay attention and don't start gawking. Don't play 20 questions at the door. Ask inside as you meet other staff and patrons. Make a friend and then inquire about the FB private group.
It isn't exclusive or perfect or everyone's vibe, but it does aim to provide a respectful positive safe space for the local LS community. That's the only way it remains sustainable without getting shut down. Hopefully this helps and we look forward to seeing everyone there.

Just bring a bottle and they provide mixers. They have it all there. Just tip them nicely.

They don’t have every kind of mixer but most of the general stuff (sprite, coke, orange juice, cranberry juice, etc). If you have something specific you want or like bring it (e.g. monster, etc). Nothing needs to be sealed/unopened but easier to not get in trouble for open containers before you get there.

Your name is on the bottle behind the bar. You can use it all night and if you are a frequent flyer you can leave it there for the next week too 😀!

You can but wouldn’t recommend it. You will find a few single men and they always appear to be on the outside looking in. Most couples aren’t wanting single men (but there are some that are). To us it seems more coupled up than not. That’s totally our opinion not necessarily fact as it’s a viewpoint from our lense.

There is a private FB group. First you must be friends with a current member and then they can invite you. They must also vouch for you.
We are still trying to figure out it the New Yorker will have a New Year’s Eve event on Friday night or if we have to do air until Saturday night
