We are seriously considering a week stay over the Christmas holiday. Has anyone ever been to Desire RM or Desire Pearl over the Christmas holidays? Wondering what the vibe is like, or are they mostly empty but for a few couldn't-give-a-fuck-about-Christmas people (we would be in that category)? Any advice is appreciated.
We'd had the same thought of going during Xmas break but if it's super busy maybe some other time would be preferable. How is it, say, during the period between Thanksgiving and Xmas? We don't want it to be a ghost town but we don't want it packed to the rafters with people either. Sorry to piggyback on your post, ENLIGHTENED. ;-p

Is piggyback a lifestyle term I am not familiar with? BTW good to hear from you again.
Just an FYI, we just returned from Desire Pearl and the beach isterrible due to seaweed washing in large quantities. We concur with what others have said about DP however we never made it to RM so we cannot comment.
Both are booked into January for weekends I do believe. We loved both resorts !
Thanks all of you for your input. And just FYI we booked for seven days no problem, and according to their front desk there are still plenty of vacancies at both resorts over the Christmas holidays. #no tan lines in December
The beach has been terrible for years now. That's one of the reasons we prefer Hedo lately. We are headed back 11/13-11/18
We'll be at the Pearl from 11/26-12/5. We've been missing our naughty away time... Vaxxed, will travel. #notanlines in December!
