The feeling of direct contact is without comparison. The testing is commendable, and we do the same. But there is a lag time between test results and possible infection. 2-3 times a year is 4-6 months apart. And even with the wienie baggie there is still some residual risk. The reason is to mitigate some of the risks involved. Like PPE (Personal Protective Equipment at work or home, it doesn’t completely eliminate the risk of injury, and can make doing the task slightly more difficult, but it does reduce the risk of more serious injury.
