Does anyone have any experience with this resort. What was the good the bad and the ugly. Would you go again, and if you would what tips do you have. Suspect is is not Desire, maybe closer to Sea Mountain.

I know this is not a direct answer, but temptations in cancun was AMAZING. Not a swingers resort per say, But plenty of playing if you want too.
It similar to SMI vs Desire.
The place is much bigger than SMI, rooms, grounds etc. not much shade if you need it in the desert sun. The “vibe” when we were there was much lower key than SMI. I think the fun ,even will be based on who is there at the time.
The playroom, maze etc are fun. In general, we liked the place - just needs some good music, fun & energy pumped into it.

We spend a lot of time at EDR and have always had a great time. Three times in the last month so I guess we like it. It is similar to SMI but about twice or three times the size. It is a bit less expensive and very close to downtown PS. Friday and Saturday are always a great party with a lot of friendly people and crazy fun. True... it is not Desire but only an hour flight away. The bad? It is relatively new and still going through some growing pains but getting better all the time. The staff is great and very attentive to any needs. Let us know if you have any other specific questions. Bottom line...we love EDR and headed back next month after a trip to Desire!

Thanks for the post! We’ve also been looking into a trip down there. We love SMI, but this does look much bigger.
We have been to SMI. We're definitely going to check out EDR and Tuscany Manor next. While there, we will probably visit the new swinger club called Inferno.
Does anyone know if EDR allows sex in the open by the pool like smi? And where the best spots for rooms are at EDR?

Yes, we have seen people having sex in & around the pool & no one stoped them. I’d say everyone rather enjoyed the show!
As for rooms, the main courtyard with the large pools are the loudest, but pool access is nice.
The time we went to Sea Mountain it seemed there was a show going on around the pool all the time.

We went to EDR last November and had a great time. The hosts were very welcoming. Friday and Saturday were busier than the Thursday we were there. We met a lot of nice people and plan on going back as soon as we can
We posted earlier but since then they have opened a night club called "The Copa". It's located closer to down town PS. They have also added a DJ, girls that walk around giving out shots like SMI and added some special pricing. We spend a lot of time at Desire RM but also love EDR. We are going over the 4th of July weekend. I am sure it will be a crazy party. I don't think there is a place on the resort where I haven't seen some type of play...well not the small cafeteria. That wouldn't be good. PM us if you need any detail.
Perhaps they should talk to their web designer. Six gorgeous women in almost nothing AT THE BEACH. LOL.. for those that don't know, Palm Springs is in the desert. Deep in the desert. Hot. No water, beaches, or waves. Gave me a chuckle.

We are headed back to Exotic Dreams the last weekend of October. It was a really good time last year when we were there. I sm sure it will be a fun Halloween weekend
We spend a ton of time at EDR and we see every type of person and age group that could be imagined. It is always a seriously friendly group and absolutely no expectations or judgement at all just fun and more fun. Let us know if you have any questions such as room selection. It matters if you like a little escape or want to be in the middle of it all.

Have you seen or know if there is any events in Jan.?
We've been to Sea Mountain in Desert Hot Springs several times and we always had a lot of fun (just watching and being watched)

You can absolutely go to a resort and "watch". When we went to Hedo we were shocked at how many total newbies were there (outnumbered the seasoned swingers 2 to 1...but that could have been an anomaly for all we know). But we also saw more than a few inexperienced couples who caused some drama because they got there, got all hot and bothered, and weren't ready for the consequences (and weren't on the same page as far as the "what if's" of jumping into the lifestyle). YMMV
