Swingers Forum - Hedo or Cruise

Previous Post Next Post
We have never been on a lifestyle cruise (or any cruise for that matter) nor have we ever been to a lifestyle resort, so we could use some insight and advice. Right now we are trying to decide between the Pure Pleasures Event at Hedo on October 9 - 16, 2021 and a Bliss Cruise on April 3, 2022 - April 9, 2022 . If we should be looking at something else, please feel free to suggest
Unsure about the Pure Pleasures event specifically, but Hedo has always been a delight.
We would suggest Naughty in Nawlins. Although it will take place 8/4-8/8...very hot in New Orleans that time of year. The hotel takeover is in the French quarter area and in 2019 had over 1200 couples attend. We like it because you get seminars, playrooms and private bar parties. You get the choice of going outside to be vanilla and the great cuisine of New Orleans.

With that being said swinger cruises are great also. We will take our 1st clothing optional trip to Desire in June.
Our vote would be Hedo - amazing fun, very sexy & you can be as wild or mild as you like. We’ve been11 times & can’t wait to go back!
We love the cruises. We have been to lifestyle friendly resorts but not hedo. Lifestyle cruises will always be our first choice for couples vacations.
We have been to Hedo twice and a two lifestyle cruises. We love both. A lot of it will depend on the port cities on the cruise.

-Hedo has an awesome beach that you can enjoy anytime. The cruise will have ports and you may have to travel to a beach for limited beach times.
-The cruise is great because everyone boards together and leaves together. At Hedo, people are coming and going at different days. So, you have to strategize a bit more when you meet people.
-The cruise has a lot more seminars, meet&greets, and events that force you to meet others. I really enjoyed the Naked Speed Dating event.
-If a alchohol package is not included on the cruise, keep in mind that you never pay for booze at Hedo.
-Cabins on cruises are smaller than rooms at Hedo. We try to get balconies when we cruise.
-If you like single guys, Hedo allows them whereas the cruise does not. If you are not into that, don't be alarmed as there aren't too many.
-You can be topless or naked in a lot more places at Hedo than cruises allow.
-The cruise has a lot of pools to lounge around. But, you don't really stand in the pool and socialize because it's too deep. The nude pool at Hedo is packed with naked people socializing in waist high water.
-At Hedo, you will see people engaging in sexual activities out in the open. This is not allowed on the cruise.
-If you are DTF, we found the cruise to be more favorable towards that ambition.

We really can't tell you which one is better. I prefer Hedo. My wife prefers the cruise.

You can't go wrong with either. Whatever you choose, have a great time!!
to expand on what Partyinlv stated (we to have been to both a couple of times)

Hedo has a lot of places to escape if you want to. Your room. The beach. The town. Excursions about anytime you want....

Cruises have nonstop entertainment, a bigger selection of food, 4000 people with about the same thing in mind (Hedo has quite a few people that aren't necessarily swinger but just may be nudist) the cruise feels a bit more in your face to speak (which isn't all bad) about the only escape, if you want one, is the excursions and your room.
Hedo is the only way to go!
PARTYINLV's description was excellent. We've been on 2 lifestyle cruises, 8 trips to Hedo and 8 trips to Desire(6 RM,2 Pearl). Although we loved them all we would pick Hedo by a small margin. One thing we didn't like about the cruise was that with 3000 people plus, we experienced meeting some couples early on in the cruise that we would have liked to get to know better but literally never saw them again all week. Make sure to exchange room numbers, contact info early if you go. If you're early risers like us Hedo has a lot going on at the gym in terms of classes in the AM and also a tennis pro (Garfield) who is usually pretty booked up. We love early morning walks on the beach too. The gym on the cruise is very nice too with spectacular views. We recommend trying both types of vacations. It's all good! We are heading back to Hedo Nov13-18.
