Anyone else escaping the cold ?
We escaped last week! Rented a house in Playa del Carmen for 3 weeks! It is awesome down here!
Three weeks sounds amazing. Just trying hoping to get our feet in the sand, and warm sun on our backs. And of course work on getting rid of any tan lines.

We are on our way back to Utah after 16 months of warm weather at the beach in Costa Rica. Ane we have no tan lines :-)

We have been to RM, but were not able to reserve rooms there this time. Pearl is new to us.

Just returned from Cancun 2 weeks ago. The return trip was a pain due to travel restrictions but is was well worth it to lay by the pool in 80 degree weather

How was the return trip a pain? Because of the covid test requirement ?
Mandatory Covid test 3 days prior to leaving and they require you fill out a health questionnaire to present at the airport you can bid it prior but take a snapshot of it. There was no internet at the airport so we had to fill out a hard card and wait in a long line. Every person that you pass at the airport will want to see the health questionnaire

Our 3 weeks are up Friday. We have absolutely loved it! Working remote, 4 days at Desire Pearl, lots of beach, exploring etc.
