I hadn't given this much thought until my wife brought it up the other night as a possibility...communicating with another couple while having sex via webcams. For us, I find it a bit intriguing given her reserved nature, as well as these times of Covid and our being a bit isolated from where the majority of LS folks are.
It may also open up a much larger pool of people for us to have some fun with (even though it was virtual)... folks we may not otherwise develop friendships with in person. Could be a way to develop closer in-person friendships with too.
Would love to hear people's experiences, or what they thought of the idea if they hadn't done it.

We did it once with a couple a long time ago and their connection sucked so it wasn't all that great. But not opposed to trying it again.
Yes, we have done it through Skype. We have talked about doing it, somewhat regularly, for kicks during the pandemic.

I have used to do it quite a bit when the chat room was easier to use. I dont "cock bomb" and will participate when invited.

We've also once did a show, for a friend of ours, with my iPhone on Facetime, set up on the dresser pointed toward the bed. That went well too.
Some friends have been using an app called "houseparty" but we have not tried it yet. From what I understand of the app it sounded pretty good and very easy
We use to have some fun with it back in the day. Not opposed the idea at all, would be a good time on a night we could not or do not want to leave home.

Thanks also to the other posters.[/quote]Google hangouts is the best for anonymity. You can buy an external/usb webcam and attach it to the laptop. The other option is using your phone just not as easy or ideal to position and set up.
We used to use the chat room on a regular basis when it worked.

We installed Chrome cast and Roku Mirror on my iphone. It's pretty easy to do, and it's pretty easy to cast whatever is happening on your iphone, sound and picture onto your big screen TV. So, that could make using Facetime with people you trust more like watching or being porn stars. Premium only cost $7.99. Since you can cast onto your big screen, a mirror of your cell phone screen, and cast sound as well, you can cast Swingular to your big screen too. We've some home made videos, in our private video album and a custom video album. The ones in the custom album were filmed in a fairly dark room, with my iPhone. We decided to film a normal work night sex session. We had to chop it up, and select just a few segments, to load it on Swingular, since any movies filmed have to be pretty short. The clips are all really dark and hard to see on a cell phone or lap top. Cast up on the big screen they lightened up quite a bit.
As for anonymity, There are still some chat apps that allow you to hide your identity. Threema allows you to hide or disclose your phone number. You don't have to link your cell phone number, you can link something like a Goggle phone number, or no phone number at all. I think Threema was just a few dollars to buy through the app store.

When I was single and the chat rooms were full every night (circa 2013-2015) I would get on and talk to friends. There was a couple and the wife would get online almost nightly and we became friends. That's what I enjoyed about it.

We have been for ~12 years. We were just thinking webcamming would add a little to it by being able to correspond with the participants. And, we may interact with a couple this way that we would want to meet and get to know in person. Seems like a good idea on paper at least...
Cyn used to cam both privately and in chat rooms with me when I had to travel for business. Some of those chats, especially those private cam chats were so hot, I almost left work to fly home to her right then. Video chats then were fantastic for getting to know other people.

We've only done this with well established friends, for that very reason.
