We have members from all over the world, however, we also have a high concentration of members in certain regions. Because of this, topics from specific regions take over the Hot Discussions which members from other regions don't care to see.
To alleviate this issue, we've added the ability for you to specify if your topic/post is specific to a certain area. By selecting a region, your topic/post will only be seen by people in that region.
For example, if I'm looking for lifestyle friendly bars in Texas, then I can specify Texas as my region and anyone not in Texas won't be bothered with having to see a post unrelated to them.

We think there are a lot better features to add. This was is easy to deal with.
