Swingers Forum - Lava Hot Springs...where to stay?

Previous Post Next Post
We are wanting to get up to Lava in early August (probably the 7th - 9th). Wanted to ask if anybody had any recommendations for lodging and dining and see if anyone else is planning a trip anytime soon. Would be great to meet some new friends while we're there.
There is a large amount of people going on the Aug 21st-23rd. Look for our posts for more info.
We like the Home hotel. It's a very historical town so you're not likely to find super fancy up there.
The Riverside is mid town, Tumbling Water is right across the street from the State Hot Pools..convenient but pretty dated, Lava Spa Motel next to Tumbling Waters, the Home Hotel across the street from Lava Spa Motel, Oregon Trail Motel mid town, Alpaca Motel by The Blue Moon Bar...I can't think of the theme Hotel a mile out of town...it might be the Lions Gate??? If you want to stay with others there are many houses for rent as well...If I can help...your welcome to message me...Have the bestest of times :)

Thanks so much for the info. We're looking forward to getting out for some fun
https://www.theharknesshotel.com/ is located in McCammon about 10 mins down the road from lava. The hotel is absolutely stunning, the showers and tubs are designed for sinful sex and the service is excellent. If you're willing to drive into lava its my favorite place to stay close by.
What about hauling up the camper? Are there good spots for that?
Alpaca Inn
We do love Lava. Several great places to stay.

1. Riverside, the only hotel that has a full restaurant inside. They will bring you your food to the room. Pre-Covid they had prime rib and salmon on saturdays. They have multiple pools, both hot and cold. Also you can reserve a private spa room in the basement. Actually can just stop there.

2. KOA for camping,

3. The little small stand alone house behind the grocery. Rent it through... Cant recall off hand. but it is nice, private.

4. Home hotel, closest to lava hot pools. Hot tubs in each room. I believe #5 has it in the living room not bathroom. But could ask.

have fun. take a drive up north several ghost towns.

...There is RV parking behind Lava Spa Hotel.check in is with Lava Spa Motel. About one eight of a mile past (East) town...beautiful RV camping with very large shade trees and the river runs on the side...I'm sorry I don't recall the name of the check-in place...
Thanks so much everybody for your help and insights. We are looking forward to the trip.
