If I recall you had to be invited and it's a private group that you can't see without being invited. We never joined because Facebook is a horrific platform if you're at all interested in privacy.
Can you create groups on Kik?
I guess that's not as well put together or organized though.

Thats why I quit, I was worried about my pics being used and saved by facebook. But, it was a pretty fun group. It did have some issues that could easily be fixed.
There is a kik group for daybreak lifestyle folks tho’
