Previous Post Next Post
Well it's finally that Time of year it's warm enough, the bugs have died down and the weekends are getting busier. We camped there this weekend Sunday we seen five other couples there throughout the day.
Bring the beach chairs, towel, spf, bug spray, blanket, shade, good music and a beverage and come be naked.

From slc head west on i80 take exit 84. Turn left on the frontage road heading west, when the road takes a hard left go stright heading west over tracks (reset your odometer here) Follow this road all the way north to the island. It turns to dirt. Stay on the main dirt road as it goes to the west of the island at 5.5 miles you'll reach a crossroads, turn left and head west, head west and take the second dirt road to your right, head north this will take you out to the lake bed/ beach. That whole lake bed is the nude beach. other roads to the beach get sandy and you could get stuck. On weekends over 70 degrees you will see people there anytime between 11am-6pm.
-Predominantly LGBT hang out to the north end and it gets a little rowdy, couples and nudists hang out on the south end.
- like any nude beach you may encounter a cruiser, they park by you or keep cruising by. Their fairy respectful and will leave if asked.
-bring water, sunblock, bug spray, beach towels, tunes and chairs.
- don't drive too far onto the lake beds or you'll get stuck but go to the lake bed to avoid bugs.
ENJOY
☺😊🌞☺☺🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
We will be out soon!
I'm looking to head out there soon.

Does this seem accurate ?? The 5.5mi drive after the odometer reset.

Turn left a little before there. That's it. It's a lakebed called the beach
Sounds like a fun time relaxing
Enjoying the sun today at the nude beach
I prefer to go straight at the intersection instead of turning West. Go past the Interpretative Trailhead Sign and make your first left. That go right out to the beach area and it much shorter and less riskier than the other way. Easier for cars for sure.

Looking great NEWTOUS!

Heading out next Sunday May 31 as it is going to 95 degrees and sunny.
How are the bugs? Thinking of heading out there today.

A is the rowdy side of the beach. B is the family/ nudist side.
Thinking of heading out there on Friday. Anyone else?
With the fire that have been out there --is anyone going out there? I would love to go with you as I don't have transportation now. George
We have not been out there for a couple of weeks. Depending on tomorrow and we might head out in the afternoon

Let me know and maybe I can ride out with you. I haven't been in a long time
Everything's open. They've been working on the road and had road closed signs up but everyone still goes. The signs were pushed over as of yesterday
Bugs were heavy on Monday.
I’m confused. Why do folks drive an hour to lay out in a huge sand / salt dry lake bed. There has to be some place in the state on federal land that we can designate as the nude hotspot. We lay out every day in the back yard. It gets hot quick. And we’re on grass.

Ouch!

Why do people go camping? Why do people drive across the state to go boating? Why do people go hiking? Why do people drive somewhere to run a marathon? People enjoy it. I totally support your trying to get federal land designated for nudity and/or just making it a thing but clearly there are enough people who enjoy this sandy/dry area to make it a recurring topic.

Because this is yeah m Utah and people don't except nudity like they do in other states so we have to go somewhere remote. Its been here 10 years after bare bum at saltair was shut down, then bermister was shut down and has been here since. It took years to build awareness to it. Now it's a super fun place for many. πŸŒžπŸŒžπŸ–πŸ–πŸΉ

Let's go some time
Anyone heading out on Sunday?
6 PM is not the latest you see people out here; a little hit and miss, we aren't able to frequent the beach often, however we are out here now :)
I have never known about this place, we need to go sometime

Did you 2 get naked? :)
The Mrs is in Vegas this weekend but im going this afternoon
Anyone want to car pool out there today? I have a nice BMW and don't want to take it on that road. I will pay the gas, etc.
Chazz6942, the road is passable with a car. There are no crazy 4WD spots. Just take it reasonably slow once you turn off the main road passed the Interpretative Trail Head sign (first left passed that.)
I went out on Sunday. It is a nice spot. I will be out again for sure...
