The blogpost and it's probably more centered within their area as Utah is different, but I can agree in part. Chatting with other LS friends they're seeing people starting to populate on their "hot date" section on SLS. The virus will be around for a while as the physical (viral) pandemic will continue. Eventually, the social pandemic will end as people just learn to live within this new world. We're being social more and more on here because more people are reaching out needing that itch scratched whether it's sexual or social, but we fail to pull the trigger.
What's everyone's take as the whole state will enter the yellow phase this weekend allowing nonessential travel, hotels opening up to normal services, and gatherings of at most 50 people will be allowed?

Personally, we're probably going to maybe just keep erring on the side of caution and, if anything, socializing with only a VERY few really close friends...and if we DO decide to venture out beyond that comfort zone it will be EXTREMELY limited and only if we feel like the potential is somehow really worth the risk. I guess, maybe, we sort of know a little too much as far as the potential downside and ramifications of jumping back into the pre-COVID world.
As far as the world outside of swinging, while we miss the way our lives used to be we can't help but feel like this is all a little soon to start opening things up this quickly and absolutely expect to see the numbers of infections and deaths jump as Utah and other states experiment on all of us with a deadly virus afoot. YMMV
