If my wife makes a connection with the male half of the couple we are interested in I usually know it. She is looking for the sapiosexual connection and looks can be secondary to that. Of course its always nice when either prospective partner can see their genitalia when standing up.
We never take one for the team but we also realize the experience is never equal with prospective new partners. She may enjoy her partner more than I enjoy mine or the other way around. What you are attracted to is always different in each set of circumstances. Thats what makes it so much fun.
