We have moved to a farm in Farmington. We now have plenty of room to host a summer campout that is close, secure and no worry about getting asked to leave over lack of permits, numbers, etc.
We have room for close to 40 campers in our fenced secure property. Some of our thoughts about how best to plan it.
1. Since it is fenced, there is no need to charge a fee to participate unless there is overwhelming consensus that we should hire 24 hour security.
2. Permits, approvals. You will not be need to worry as we will be on our private property with the police aware of the event and with the security that no one can see inside there will be no issues with nudity.
3. We will have a 11 pm quiet time that must be inforced. However our closest neighbor is pretty distant so noise will not be an issue.
4. Thoughts mr. Simple has had. Would be to limit the attendance to 35 campers. With a NLT show up time on friday of 4 pm. And the gate opening to let folks out on Sunday at noon.
But hay, we want to hear wha5 you have to say and when you would like it. We will run a protective barrier to keep prying eyes out, so the vehicles on the exterior could not move until everyone is ready to leave.
Campers could be dropped off anytime during the week so you could just show up on Friday.
There would be no access to our house, and every camper would need to utilize their own facilities.No use of our fields as a toilet, sorry.
If tent campers would like to attend I am willing to order at their expense a porta John. If that was something those campers wanted.

Since we manage a theme camp, the three weeks before and week after is spent building and tearing down.
At this time, just a concept seeking input from those that have attended lifestyle events in the past and have ideas on how to make one spectacular.
