Ice fishing is about the only way I can get the wife out fishing. We would love to go out and have a good time.

Well, being as we are from south of the Mason-dixon line, we cant say we know the first damned thing about ice fishing. We are, however, deadly with flyrod, spincast, openfaced, pushbutton, jig-pole, closed face (zebco 33) and even a danged old 8' cane pole. Shit,down home where I'm from if you hadn't mastered the above by age 10 you would straight up starve to death. Salt water flats, buyous, mud flat lakes, deep sea offshore for bill fish to blue ribbon smallmouth streams. 200 crappie days and 2 Bass in one cast on a fly rod with 2 hula poppers. One weighed 9lbs 7oz, the other 8lbs 3oz. Pretty damned good in fresh, brackish, and salt water, but never tried frozen water. All this under my belt and my wife is a much better Fisher than i!! So, if you will kindly show some ropes and allow us the pleasure of your company we will be much obliged!

Birch creek is poppin. 10 inches of solid ice with 6 inches of snow. 12-18 inch trout all day.
